...About Monster Hunter Dos and Unite

Thursday, November 5, 2009, 07:34 PM CST [General]

Yeah well, I have been playing MHF Unite, and I cant stop think about DOs and comparing it, well it is apparently better than DOS, but, deep inside, DOs has its lvl of "matureness", taht makes it different from the MHFUNITE.

One first think as the MHFUnite as the epitaph of the Monster Hunters, but, is it??. On a closer look, MHFUnite lacks a bunch of things that make MHDos different, I mean it lacks of a great amount of weaps that MHF Unite has, and thats the reason why I stopped playing MHDos, also lacks a great variety of monsters (In this game was the presentaqtion of the elder dragons and of the caparaceon and pelagus species, only). It also lacks a bunch of good offline quests, like white fata and crimson, yama and of course the +items, that come with it.

....but overall, having all that lack of stuff, MH Dos has several options that make it worth, and maybe funnier than MHFUnite

Well it has online playing which has arm wrestling options which is fun while waiting for a partner to ger ready for a battle, it has the option of capturing monsters and then fighting against other player monster to see who defeats it in the least time, which is something unique that doesnt have MHFunite.

Besides u can play it on tv and the obvious reason that it can be played w a controller, which is way funnier than in the PSP, it also has the option of going back to the kokoto village, which at first glance it was amazing when I found out, u can actually upgrade the village, so it doesnt stay static as in MHFUnite, and u get missions from the npcs, also u get materials to upgrade armors, not just armor spheres. The biggest draws in this game are the very lack of cool monsters and variety in quests, and the huge lack of weapons that are available in MHFunite

MHDos has different goals in the quests which MHFUnite doesnt have, and has the season mode, where u can find certain monsters only in certain seasons, which is also really cool and gets it closer to the theme of the game which is Hunting monsters.

Now, MHFreedom Unite has a farm, which is great to get items fast, which  is cool, but takes a lot of fun in the gathering part of the game, it also has a lot of monsters and a lot of weapons, which is great, and it is the main reason why it is overall better than MHDos, but, wouldnt have been great to have all those extra options MHDos had???, well I think it would have been great for me, since it adds a lot of "Hunter Feeling" to the game, not just a "slaying monsters " feeling..

SO is it a compilation of Monster Hunter games??, maybe just those from the PSP, but the lack of MHDos elements make it look like a stepback in the franchdise.. :(

sadly those elements werent added :(... but still it is too good

    If games were realistic.....

Thursday, September 17, 2009, 02:57 PM CST [General]

I always wondered, if they kick their **** in the first round, their bodies should be really damaged for a second round, so they would not be able to fight again, but its just game, and it is unreal, and that unrealistic part is what makes it fun... and desirable..

Yeah, I used a pic from JGonzo, and it is the same comment I left him , I just had to write it somewhere...

Capcom games that I FELL in LOVE with!!!

Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 10:14 PM CST [General]

So I was wondering around teh ... house and I was thinking that I like abunch of games from Capcom, and many of my favorites are from this franchidise so I thought in making a list of the games of Capcom tha I love.. so without further introduction: ...here is my list of games (in order of ........love.....) from Capcom that I love:

    1. Darkstalkers: Fell in love with this game since the very fisrt time I saw it, and I will always prefer the first one, I wonder why Capcom stopped making this game, but I guess its bussiness, hopefully, .....soo this games has all the creepy horror movies that  I always liked but in a different format since they are all in a "cool" version, not like those of the 50's movies, or those in cartoon, this ones can actually kick ass and further more fight versus eeach other...  My favorite Characters are Rikkuo and Sasquatch, then I learned to use the others.......... and It had a mexican character: Huitzil, in that time, I was like " finally someone put mexico in a game", now I just dont care......

    2. MegaMan: Yeah this blue fellow filled me with ours of joy and desperation, I used to take weeks!! to finish one of this games, now it takes me hours, imaginehow stressful it was, but I had to continue it was my duty!! evil Dr. Willy!!!.. St the time I was in a... mission to finish all the Mega Man games I knew so far and I got to Mega Man 8, couldnt finish it, Ill try again other day................... but man these gmes were the bomb, these games got me into the gaming World more than any other....

    3. Monster Hunter: Yeah there are probably more games and most important Capcom game sin my life than this series, but why I cant recall them??, because I obviously like this more. So what can I say of this game, it had the novelty of bringing a type of gme I always wanted: ..... HUNTING game, but not any hunting game, MONSTER HUNTING!!!!, it skipped the obviously dinosaur hunting game that everyone expects to see into the obviously cooler Monster Hunting experience!!! Do ther I was playing at my cousins PS2 and he tells me that you can create armors with the monsters you slayed, isnt that awesome!!!, and this game introduced me to the .. blessing of the online playing.... what else can I say?!!!.... It is perfect, ... but its not in the top of my list coz obviously.. it lost the online experience, and .. sometime gets overwhelming, still a very good Capcom game........

Soo there are plenty of Capcom games that I could still recall......... but I will make a short list:

    4. Marvel Vs Capcom: also as XMen vs Capcom and all those variants, kicked ass with its incredible cool combo system and super mega special moves

    5. Resident Evil: Dino Crisis and all its variants...... Well I prefer RE than DC, ... and I always had FEAR by just watching how someone else plays it, but then I took courage and played the game, and I liked it to the point of replaying it...... and wanting more, I couldnt believe its ... weird controller style could get me into it, but it did........

    6. The Captain Commando arcade machine, it was awesome to play it with other three players, and the moves were awesome... it kicks ass...kind of like a Final Fight game..... but with several players.. it kick ass............

Well other games that I have played from Capcom and I liked:

King of Dragons (cant rememebr its real name, but im sure it is) for NES, ..., Devil May Cry, (which I really dont like very much, I prefer others), the Street Fighters....... and well I cant remember the others, but I have played many.. so it is my list ..................enjoy if anyone wants to read it and anyone can comment anything, anything is welcomed here.... buh bye
