Big props to the ScrewAttack crew for hosting an awesome event and having me out there to speak on a panel about SF HD Remix with the guys from OCRemix .  The event was great, with speakers like the famous Nolan Bushnel (creator of Pong and founder of Atari), events like Iron Man of Gaming, and even a tense debate with the notorious Jack Tompson

The panel I spoke in was very relaxed and it was a great casual way to engage some of our great fans.  You can barely see, but I’m sitting on the panel between Larry Oji (Liontamer) and David Lloyd (djpretzel) of OCRemix fame.  

After about an hour of talking and taking questions, we moved on to the game floor where we gave the attendees an opportunity to win some stuff from the boxes of swag I brought to the show.  

The pic above is of me playing (and losing) to Larry, but we spent a good couple of hours playing HD Remix against the fans.  If they lost, we still gave them RE5 snow globes, OCRemix stickers, or mini Chun Li figures.  If they won, they got to take their pick from the winners box, which consisted of a plethora of items such at Bionic Commando lunch boxes, shirts, a poster sign by the cast of the “Legend of Chun Li”, figures, and mcuh more.

I don’t have any pics of it, but there was also a mini HD Remix tourney and I made sure the winner got a metal Shadaloo pin and an SF4 wall scroll.

All in all, it was a great time and I want to thank again the Screwattack guys for throwing a great show and for the fans for coming to check it out.  And thanks to Dallas for 100+ degree heat, Shiner Bock, Whataburger, and poorly marked freeway on ramps.

PS- I did want to mention that the SF gods must’ve laid their sweet blessing on the OCRemix guys and me because during the “play to win swag” event, we could not be defeated.  I wasn’t able to give anything away from the winners box until I switched to random characters.  Just had to toot my own horn there =P
