Capcom Releases Capcom Arcade and Lil’ Pirates for Free on the App Store

Nov 04, 2010 // Mike Larson

So, who likes free stuff?  Today we launched Capcom Arcade and Lil’ Pirates for the iPhone and iPod touch and they’re all kinds of free. How cool is that?

In Lil’ Pirates , players start with a small ship and a tiny crew of scallywags.  Players can upgrade their vessel and expand their crew by undertaking special missions and jobs. Once they start to amass resources and loot, players will be able to challenge friends to combat, play mini games with the crew, bury booty to increase its value, and live the pirate life.

Capcom Arcade features near pixel-perfect translations of Street Fighter II®, the original Ghouls ‘N Ghosts, 1942 and Commando . Each day players will get three free plays that they can use for any game in the arcade. If they’d like to play more, additional “Tokens” can be purchased in the Capcom Arcade and mega fans can also buy a “Cabinet” outright for unlimited play and maximum value. Right now you can get ten tokens for $.99 or an unlimited play cabinet for $2.99.
