GeneStarwind posted his recent Monster Hunter Tattoo, which is something straight from Monster Hunter lore: The mark of the forbidden hunter. There was a series of Monster Hunter comics in Japan that elaborate on this particular seal. It’s different than the normal guild seal in the fact that a hunter with this seal can do basically anything they want without the approval of the guild. Basically, it means you’re so badass you don’t need rules. In fact, this tattoo might be one of the most badass Monster Hunter tattoos of all time!
