The International Animated Film Society’s Annie Awards , self-billed as “animation’s highest honor,” will kick off this February 4th at UCLA’s Royce Hall, and I’m happy to report that Capcom’s slick, inspired DS game Ghost Trick  has received a nomination for Best Animated Video Game of 2011. Since practically all  video games in 2011 were animated, this qualifies as high praise indeed. And well deserved at that, as I’m sure anyone who’s spent some time with Ghost Trick can agree. 

Can’t wait to see the outcome, but whatever happens, it’s an honor!
