A wastewater treatment plant purification robot. He looks a little old, but he can control water at will, and launch high-powered water-projectiles. He is quite a clean freak, so it is no wonder that he volunteers his time to blast away graffiti from neighborhood walls. Pump Man can control water at will. His “Water Shield” can block Mega Man’s attack!

This week's Robot Master fan art challenge is Pump Man! The clue was admittedly easy last week (italicized letters) so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise.

If you need inspiration, I suggest reading his bio (above) and taking elements that will help you with your art.

As always, the winner of this week will receive copies of Udon's Mega Man: Official Complete Works and Mega Man X: Official Complete Works! They will move on to the final round at the end of this mega contest to compete against other winners for a Mega Man sketch signed by Inafune or Ariga!

Last week the Capcom Community team highlighted our favorite Sheep Man submissions that didn't win the grand prize and this week, we're doing the same with the Strike Man submissions. These are just the pieces that we each really liked.

In addition, we didn't get to do this for Commando Man so we went back to those submissions and highlighted our favorites from those as well. Any of the submissions selected by the community team will be given special recognition at the end of this mega contest.

The Electric Playground crew took a few minutes to talk to Kramez about one of our biggest games releasing this year, Monster Hunter Tri. Kramer gives a run down of some of the big ways we're changing Monster Hunter, and how that experience is making the most of the Wii. Everything from tons of customization, beautiful and huge environments, awesome monsters, and fully loaded online play. 

We've already blogged about Udon's upcoming Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki comic book mini-series, but now we have new information that a limited set of variant covers will be made for issue #1 and they can only be obtained at comic book conventions!

The variant cover (on the right ->) is limited to 400 copies and will be made available at the following conventions:

First up is ScrewAttack's Destin talking up the raw awesomeness of the TvC's Lost Planeteer:  the PTX-40A and his (apparently) unbeatable chainsaw hand.  Not just any chainsaw hand either--that saw is bigger than the entire body of most of his opponents (and you thought getting hit with a regular chainsaw was bad enough). 

And just in case you think the PTX-40A really is unbeatable, here's one of the best PTX players in America, but unfortunately for him he's facing his character's worst nightmare: a Tekkaman/Tekkaman Blade tag team (the "Tekkamen"). 

Tekkaman is the PTX's natural enemy, and T. Blade might be even worse--kudos to Il.nd for his great showing against tall odds!
