Here's some news I trust you shan't find. . . objectionable. Gahaha.
So yeah! The live-action Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney feature film, directed by exhaustingly prolific director Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Audition, One Missed Call, The Happiness of the Katakuris), will be seeing a stateside and European release later this year, following up its run in Japanese theaters starting February 11th.
Those who have seen the trailer know that this movie looks to preserve the game's distinct blend of over-the-top dramatics, surrealist world view, and paranormal elements. It will also include the always-excellent, favored Miike star Ryo Ishibashi (Audition).
Additionally, Capcom Japan has announced a veritable trove of new swag items to celebrate the film's Japanese launch. Just look at this craziness.
