Kk, I know a lot of people complained about Apollo Justice already, but I'm going to say this anyway. I think Apollo needs more independence and gain the experience he needs to match up to our "ideal". Since we started off with our amazing hero, Phoenix, we can't seem to accept the fact that he just quit. Ya reckon? xD So please, Capcom, make the departure more acceptable.

Next comes my favourite character Ema Skye. =) I didn't expect Ema to fail her forensic test after meeting her and knowing her passion in GS1 Case 5. That was kinda disappointing, but this brought her back to our little circle of justice as our detective. I did miss Gumshoe, but I can't help being happy to see my favourite character. I like the new features along with the old fingerprint thing. (Awww, Nick gave his fingerprint momento to APOLLO. =O) As for rivalry, I think Prosecuter Rock-god fop and little Fraulein need to have more relationship developement. I would LOVE to see them together in the future games. i mean, who else can Klavier pair with? xD

My general impression of Apollo Justice is pretty good. I think the bracelet thing was a cool twist to things. =) However, I do miss the Fey family dearly. (Pearl should be 15 now, like Trucy. ^o^) Good job Capcom! =D Don't forget to bring some of our previous characters back for old gamers' satisfication! Build on the characters even more.

I don't mean to flame, but I'll be honest: among my friends and I who play the Ace Attorney series, I was the one who was most disappointed with AA4.  My reasons:

1. Like you said, Phoenix quitting just like that is weird. It simply doesn't fit the mold that Capcom made about him. Also, I find it hard to believe that his friends would somehow abandon him when he got disbarred.

2. I hated his personality change. Whatever happened to the goofy sweetheart we've come to know and love? Sure, he might have become cynical after he got disbarred, but even before then, in the flashback scene, he was a little arrogant, and I can't imagine Feenie being like that. Not to mention that he forged evidence (yeah, the sheet wasn't forged by him, but what about the card? That really was forged evidence.)

3. Ema Skye not passing her forensics exam? That's weird. She was a little goofy in "Rise from The Ashes", but she wasn't stupid or as ridiculous as they made her out to be in AA4.

4. Trucy is lame for me. I loved Maya. In comparison, Trucy was just annoying. It's like they were trying to hard to make her likeable, but it didn't work for me.

5. There's something about Apollo that just doesn't cut it for me.

6. Apollo's power is just ridiculous. Catching someone's lie because they swallowed, blinked, or twitched a little bit?  Maybe the armpit sweat flow wasn't, but everything else seems like a normal reaction. You'd swallow too, if you were speaking continuously.

Sure, I liked a few things in game. Hobo Phoenix was one (heck, he stole the game from Apollo), Klavier Gavin (his air guitar during court is hilarious), Kristoph Gavin (he's a good villain), and that Mafia mom (I can't remember her name). Everything else was just blah.
