Yes it's true, he continued because of her, but he also continued so he could help Miles Edgeworth. Even if Mia hadn't died, if Miles Edgeworth had still been that bitter and depressed and still had the same troubles he had in the first game, I don't think Phoenix would have been able to forgive himself for not helping him, even if Mia was still alive.

Let's just agree to disagree. I'm personally of the opinion, that it wasn't right for her to die like that. You can have another opinion, and everyone's entitled to one. I was just pretty much crushed when I realized it was true she dies.

Though in some respects, I do have to say, if she were still around, I wouldn't have grown so attached to Maya either because then she might not get seen very much.

Mia's dead, but I still hope for Maya to get a game of her own. I'm not a big fan of prequels, so I'd prefer it if we just saw her being channeled in a future game where you play as Maya. It's not right Mia died, and I'll say I agree to disagree with anyone who disagrees and I wish to not argue about it, but at least we've got Maya because she is the best character in my opinion. :)
