Early reviews on the XBL version's multiplayer have been extremely positive. We want to ensure the online experience for PSN users is as smooth, fun, and addicting. We also want to ensure all those who dive into the map editor and generate new content for the Age of Booty community have a great time sharing their maps with friends. As a result, we had a little more work to do.
Look for the release to be sometime around mid November. Yes, Europe, we're aiming for your release to be the same day as the US. We'll announce a more specific date when we lock one down with Sony.
Good News: To soften the blow for our PSN fans I'm pleased to anounce to you all something I've only teased about in previous posts.
I'm sure you've already guessed it by the image. Yes, Age of Booty will support Trophies! We'll have a patch available within the first couple of months upgrading the SDK and bringing with it the XMB enhancements and other cool features such as Trophies.
no, we shouldn't be happy. this isn't about a desire to play unfinished games. i didn't see a single disappointed comment about the fact that they didn't release re5 as is on thursday. this is about not being able to play games that should be done but are not, due to the fact that the ps3 and its users are obviously capcom's lowest priority, as they've shown time and time again. how can you honestly compare this to sfhd? the game was delayed countless times due to the fact it wasn't done. it's not like sfhd was only delayed on the ps3 because capcom didn't put enough time into the ps3 version and now needs to rework parts of it to bring it up to par. when they announce that within the next month, then the situation will be comprable, and good luck telling us to be happy at that point. quality companies do make quality work, you're right. What they do not do is tell everyone that they've made quality work, and then admit that they didn't on release day. sure capcom's a quality company.... just not on the ps3... one of the worst really... and the worst part is that they really don't seem to give a ****. why would they? they certainly won't be selling any less copies of sfhd or re5 because of it.
