FOUR DAYS since the last post in this thread.  How about a: WE ARE SORRY THE ONLINE PLAY SUCKS apology to every psn players inbox?

At this point, who cares about an apology, FIX the damn problems.  A baker would never get away with selling raw bread, why the hell did you release this to the public when it's obviously broken?

I could understand pc users having problems, 999,999 hardware/net combinations, but PS3 problems? Really?

So frustrated at the devs, and at not using profanity to express how I truly feel.   Lost respect for Capcom that's for sure.  Don't publish garbage next time. Thanks.

Well said!  The least they could do is fix it.  I don't think it's likely to happen anytime soon, though, because capcom cares more about RE5 and SF4.

I tried re-installing the demo.  I played online 3 games in a row without problems.   I activated the demo with the $10 unlock and now I can not play online.

Everything is the same as in the demo version, except that I never get a chance to make a move on the game board.  I get to see the game board in the very begining, but get kicked out before any moves can be made.

The message is pretty much the host is no longer available.

This happens over and over. Different maps, different number of players. 1 and 2 players on my side doesn't make a difference.

If the people that made this game are THAT lazy, at least take the easy route and figure out why demo multi works, and full version doesn't.

I think a player from last night summed it up perfectly with their nick "thisisfnstupid"  Yep.

I am not sure wheter to cry or to laugh. I guees you guys haven't been here that long. If you look at the topic it was create MONTHS ago, and we still have not seen any improvement. 4 days without reply is like nothing, it can easily go a month without a reply. And if you actually look for a reply from someone at Capcom than you can wait up till 3-6 MONTHS. So, don't expect a reply or an improvement anytime soon. :(

Consumerist time?  Are there other alternatives. Perhaps some prominent blogger could shed some light on the matter.

I'm confirming the problems mentioned already. The matchmaking service for the PS3 is simply broken. It does not work but once in a blue moon. Invitations do not work, ever. I'm really bummed out by this because the game is super fun when it actually works, which is extremely rare.

What really bothers me though is that I bought the game because the demo worked great. No problem finding other people in the matchmaking service. Matchmaking in the full version, however, does not work. If I'd known paying $10 would get me a broken game, I would've stuck with the free demo.

I've decided to contact the PSN customer service about the onilne functionality (or lack of) of AoB.  I'll be sure to update you all on what I learn.

@alongtheway - I agree that AoB is one of the best games available on the PSN, this whole thing is a shame ...and should be embarrassing for Capcom and Certain Affinity as well.  I just cannot belive the lack of communication with their fanbase.

How did you contact support, and with what info?  I'd like to submit a similar ticket.  If we all come to them with the same issue, and similar wording,  the real problems should get some attention.

Who am I kidding.  They got the $10 and that's all that matters to them.

I was going to buy SF4 this spring, but after this BS ? NO WAY!.

I found the contact info at playstation.com,

http://playstation.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/playstation.cfg/php/enduser/ask.php?&p_sid=I*P2vatj

After you type your message, there will be a pull down menu to select "PlayStation Network/Games" (something like that)

** Feel free to search the knowledge center first, I couldn't find anything about AoB there.  Please let me know if you do.

In my message, I really just expressed my disappointment with PSN as a whole for not forcing resolution on these issues.  I did also ask that if I cannot recieve a useful answer on the subject that I would like a refund for the game.

As another user mentioned somewhere on this forum, it has been SEVERAL months since the games release.  There's really no excuse anymore.

Has anyone heard of an update on getting a fix for the PS3 version? I purchased this game the same day they released the demo on the PS3. I really enjoyed the game for the 5 hours it took to complete all the single player challenges and trophies. But without the ability to play online, this game is definitely not worth the money. I have tried on quite a few occasions to get an online match, but I always get kicked as soon as the lobby is full and the map starts. Too bad really, as this is a fun game. Cry
