Here is the patch to update Age of Booty to v1.01.  It primarily includes fixes for the matchmaking error, and also includes a fix for broken credits.  Give it a try and post your results here!

This is an updated trial with the matchmaking issue fixed.  In it, the timer is reset so you will have the full trial time period to check the game out.

Bit distressed to see the game actually let me try and auto matchmake tho even though there was a new patch out (before I knew about it). Are there gonna be people playing with different version (Steam excluded, since that auto updates).

Well now I'm really annoyed...

So the fixed the auto-match making error.. GREAT!!

BUT WHAT DID THEY FORGET??...

Oh the little bug that stops to people who brought the game from capcom playing. I brought this game directly off the official capcom website. How is it possible that there have been so many different people that have the same CD Key as me?

Now I keep getting the same message "The host has kicked you due to having a invalid CD key.."

What a joke Capcom. I want a working CD key or my money back...

   OK I totally love AOB on the 360, I bought it as soon as it came out on PC, sadly I have not been able to play on line at all yet. I thought the patch would fix my problems. Yet alas, every time I try to find an online match the game craches and closes. Certain affinity I choose to believe in you. Please fix thix soon. ( I am sure you are working on it)


 


Problem: I can't even get to the LAN area without having to sign in to gamespy. This is no good because I want to be able to play LAN games even if I am wothout internet.


 


Problem: When I go create a LAN game AOB closes


Problem: When I seach for an online game the search starts but as it seems to me as soon as the map begins to load AOB crashes. I can upload my dxdiag file if it will help.


Good luck to those that are working on the problem

After installing the patch, i also still cant play due to my CD key invalid or already in use. What a joke, i paid for full version off capcom, thinking id get an original CD key. I also would like a new working CD key from capcom or if this can not happen a refund.

My friends who brought the steam version have alot less problems. At least they can play online.

Same problem I've had since beta. Crash to Desktop as soon as you select start in multiplayer or challenges.

Hey Rex, I am in the same boat as you. Ever since the beta, the campaign part of the game has worked for me, but the multiplayer has not. Any time the game tries to load a multiplayer map it says "gar ye be tryin to load a bad map"


-Is there any info I can give to you (certain affinity) to help fix the problem sooner?

Perhaps there is some issue occuring with my download of the game, however I purchased the game on Steam like many others have.  Unfortunately (2 weeks past the date of the inital patch post) my version is still listing itself as the March 13th release candidate and if I check the update news for the game on steam, it lists the last update as being December 31, 1969. 


I have tried deleting all local content and re-downloading however it does not seem to update beyond the release.  Am I doing something wrong or is the steam updater not working correctly for some reason?  I would appreciate some insight as I would REALLY like to play this game multiplayer but it seems to not want me to.
