Howdy once again board, Pillaged and plundered through some of the best outnumbering AI, but now looking to get into the Online arena and have a go, but for some reason I cannot find a game at all, I have tried exiting back and forth for the Matching, I have even tried waiting for countless minutes, Still Nothing.

-Once I got into a game and was auto-booted because "Invalid Game-Key or already in use." it then prompted me to put in my Game-Key in which I did, but when I went searching for a game again, I found nothing.

Any suggestions on how to fix this lack of games. I assume people are playing.

I bought the game and downloaded from the Capcom site, have my Game-Key from the receipt they gave me.

Thanks for the help!

Sorry for a repeative topic, After scrolling through other topics I've discovered others having similar problems and frustrations.

-So has anyone heard news of a date when the "Capcom AoB" multiplayer problems will be fixed- Or - is the best thing to do,Unistalling "Capcom AoB" and downloading the "Steam AoB", Also is that fix even possible for those who don't know the in and outs of programming.

-In other words: can "Capcom AoB" be uninstalled and "Steam AoB" installed and played without any problems?

Again, Thanks for any advice and info.

Hiya,

Best thing to do is join the Age of Booty steam group. just requires you have steam, dont need to buy Age of Booty there. Then message group users to setup a game.

All the networking issues that came with the release, have pretty much stopped any chance of getting random game matches.

Thanks for the heads-up Mathew.

Was curious though... Can the Steam users who downloaded the "Steam AoB Version" play in the Ranking Multiplayer matches? -Or- are they circumstanced to use the AoB user group as well?

We all use same Gamespy comrade system.

Steam group just allows you to message other users in the group. Best way for getting other players to look for game at the same time.

When I am searching for a game I message others to see if they are interested.

Ah ha! I see, but I am curious if you and your Comrade friends are able to compete for Ranking games? Or are Ranking games on hold for the moment until CA/Gamespy/Capcom figure out the dilemma? I guess a side question is, How does one play games for the leaderboard?

The games are ranked unless you invite through private.

I use the steam group and get people to look for a game same time as me. Pretty much just Dueling Duos, finding more players is to hard.

Nice! That's good to know, and also raises another question. I purchased 2 AoB games, One for my PC and another for my Girlfriend's PC. Yet when the two of us log on and look for matches to play in we cannot find each other let alone another player of anytype. We have tried all sorts of game searching mixtures, and have also just left it running for a long time in hopes of seeing Each other or another player, never anyone or either one of us.

Have any of you experienced something like this? Her and I can play LAN games easy enough but not Online, It really is frustrating. We'd really enjoy our shots at the leaderboards.

Unfortunately to many network issues have driven away the player base.

If you have both setup comrade IDs and logged each other as comrades try to invite to a online private match.
I'll be home from work in a couple hours, might be able to organise a match.

I highly recommend everyone join the steam AoB group.  Even if you don't use steam for anything else but AoB player matching.

If we all band together, maybe we can breathe some multiplayer life back into this game!
