If you're getting this error and purchased via the Capcom Store, Capcom customer support is now able to give you a new Gamespy CD-Key.  Note it won't work for product activation, just for Gamespy matchmaking.

I'm not quite sure why there were duplicate keys being issued on the store, but we're going to reissue keys to the capcom store so going forward new customers will be issued unique keys.  Sorry for the cd key issue :(

I've also asked CA to look through these threads at the other issues currently being observed.

How about sending out emails to all the people who orded the game from Capcom.

I sure a few people have given up on the game. It would be nice if these people were alerted via email, maybe then we might get a few people looking for games online.

Good to see finally some effort to fix the CD key issue. But...

As a paying customer who has already purchased AOB from capcom, I'm still unsatisfied that I am not been issued a working unique CD-key, that I am entitled and which i payed for! (That works for both activation and matchmaking.) It's your mistake (capcom) FIX IT!! As a customer I shouldn't have to deal with this, it should be emailed to me without delay.

How is it not possible to look up peoples emails who purchased AOB from capcom before a certain date, notify them of the mistake, and issue them a new CD-key that works for both activation and multiplayer.

Why does the customer that brought the game on release get punished for there support. You should be going out of your way to fix these problems for your customers. I have to say, I have never felt so ripped off, ever! Sorry but this just seems like another few hours of my life spent and wasted trying to patch and fix your Sh$t.

The following needs to be done; and quickly!

1) Issue via email, full unique keys to your customers that have been effected by this error, with an apology. (At CAPCOM's expense if necessary!)

2) There needs to be some type of official response to patching multiplayer problems. No one cares that the credits didn't work, (what a great patch that was, yay!) I STILL CAN'T PLAY THE GAME YET, WTF!

We can deal with a few issues as long as they are temporary. What the consumer is looking for is an official acknowledgement that there are some issues, and an official date, notifying consumers of when the program (in which they purchased in good faith, from CAPCOM), should be fully functional and operational.

Also if AOB is not going to be made fully functional, or not include what was outline when purchased, customers should be entitled to full refunds, if they so choose.

I put a request in for a new key 2 weeks ago when I realised I was getting the problem. I've got a open ticket with capcom support and they still haven't issued me a new one yet. They say they aim to reply in 8 business hours (e.g. 1 day) and instead each reply seems to take at least one business week!!

I'm glad finally that the issue has been recognised but feel it has taken far longer then it should have. As a result I expect that lots of the games player base has been put off from trying to get games online. We can only hope that the persistant players will keep on trying and more new players will start coming in so that the game can finally take off as it deserves too.

The active player base has taken a brutal hit by continious bugs/problems only which have just now been fixed. It's going to take a long time for the game to recover and the players to come back in now the game is up to release standard.

I can't help but feel if the game was delayed by a few weeks more (despite it already being months and months delayed) and these issues being sorted everyone would be alot more happy about the entire thing...

The wait for a reply to my ticket to support and a new key continues.....

HURRY UP AND GIVE THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING THE GAME SINCE DAY 1 THERE WORKING KEYS! Yell

That is a good idea but those who give up will miss out.
