Private Multiplayer Error: Game full

I have three common problems so far, wondering if anyone has found a solution?

(Problem 1)

When trying to play private game or online game of AOB, always on the first time I enter a multiplayer game I always get kicked and asked for CD key, I enter the key and then try multiplayer again and the game works & I find can find people and play a quick match if people are online.

(Problem 2)

I am unable to play multiplayer private games due to an error, Host full.... when it is clearly not. Happens when I invite people and when they invite me.

(Problem 3)

Some of my friends can invite me however but if we add AI players the game always crashes?

Anyone else get any of these problems? or know of a solution to any of the above?

I own the steam version of the game.  I cannot join or be invited to private games.  They all get the message that the game is full or has been removed by the player.  I get the same message when they invite me.

I can join the quick match, but good luck getting a match going because this game is a ghost town...

This may or may not work, but it is worth trying if you are using a router. Comrade needs the following ports opened for correct operation.

  • 27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
  • 28900 (Master Server List Request)
  • 29900 (GP Connection Manager)
  • 29901 (GP Search Manager)
  • 13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
  • 6515 (Dplay UDP)
  • 6500 (Query Port)

above information taken from here...

I almost forgot the obligatory join the AoB steam group spam (I know you are already a member Jim)

The above post is an answer to your second question. I forgot to add answers to questions one and three.

The CD key error is a problem with the Capcom version and they are issuing new keys... read the top thread in the AoB forum entitled "Cd Key In Use"

I personally have not encountered the AI crashing the game problem. So I cannot help with that question.

Thanks

I have tied the port forwarding and still dosn't seem to work, I have the steam version now but origanally i installed the crapCOM version but had to remove it and buy steam version to play online quick matches,

Thinking of re-installing the game after removing it fully from registy, etc that might fix this error, not too sure ill let you know.... may have to remove crappy secrueRom crap as well
