Hey everybody, new to the forum.

I wanted to ask a question(s) about age of booty.

I first played the demo on my friends xbox 360 and fell in love with this game. I want to order it on steam but there are plenty of concerns before I do this.

Now, Steam does not issue refunds, and getting a refund for any game these days is like pulling teeth, so I was hoping getting some feedback from the users who played and own this game.

I tried installing the demo on my pc: Its vista, 4gb of ram, quad core 2.4ghz, nvidia 9800 gt. So obviously computer requirements are no problem. After trying to start up the demo from steam it said a certain audio file was missing. I uninstalled then re-installed, still the same problem arose. I downloaded from many other websites and still was getting this error. I figured this is a technical problem with it.

So im left with this dilemma, I really want to purchase this game, but i see many threads of problems like these. I see people saying it crashes without notice, multiplayer is malfuntioning, and my problem that im having. I also see a patch was made and was wondering if it addressed the issues everyone else is having, and if it addresses mine?

If you own the game and there are no problems but you did have some, can you please info me on what was wrong and how you got it fixed. OR, if you are still having problems can you please info me on what is wrong with your game. Im directly asking this to PC owners.

I just want to make sure that I will get a working game and not lose ten dollars. I think the game is great, but im very nervous on purchasing it. Thanks Alot everyone!

Yes I saw that patch, and I just couldnt see if they addressed some of the issues the players were having as well as mine.

I also have the same forum posted on steam, i also saw that players there were having similar problems, but I had some replies saying that the game ran well. Im going to wait a bit for some more feedback from others, but thank you again for informing me
