I'd agree if it was easier to play online.

The PC version is so screwy (crappy gamespy) that it was a real chore trying to get a game going even when you had a group wanting to play.

I also hate how Steam version uses SureCOM.

And LAN requiring gamespy comrade sux. Was hoping to play it as an office lunchtime game.

Sorry to hear that you have had some difficulties playing AOB's PC version, Matthew.


 


While early versions of SureCOM did indeed have known problems, those issues have been addressed in more recent iterations.  That said, if you like the game it might be worth giving the Steam version another look.
