Easy to pick up and play but with exceptionally deep team-based strategy, casual players and competitive players will have a great time. Party based match making, map editing and sharing and an unique demo solution will make the game popular on all three platforms. Here's what Team Xbox has to say about it. Like me and my friend against the AI or other players? And/ or a coop campaign? Hungry for more detailed info... Life is a huge MMORPG

And/ or a coop campaign? i'm sure the hex-based maps are because you're using a controller. it's easier to target and move around more quickly. and check this out http://www.capcom-unity.com/kramez/blog/2008/08/08/on_the_spot_with_capcom_digital_titles you can see that you can play up to four player split screen, as well as versus AI.
