Is there a possible that When MH3 comes out in North American that it will be on both PS3 and Wii. (For Capcom people who are ingore their fans on the Playstation side) Take a look at the forum in General Monster Hunter Discussion , and look at our side in the post ...Enthusiasts for MH3 on PS3 . There are good reasons why it should be on the PS3 or both systems (try reading all of the many post and concerns. Two (of many) reasons why it shouldn't be for the Wii. Controls and multiplayer which I mind you is one of the Biggest things that makes Monster hunter BIG!.

Also again I will ask wasn't a couple of months but. Is monster portable 2G coming out in north American.

Two (of many) reasons why it shouldn't be for the Wii.

Yet the Wii has by far the biggest install base, as well as the lowest development costs, your point being?

Xbox last gen had a online service... PS2? bahahahaha. Yet... Wasn't PS2 the right console for MH? I thought so. The rest although concerns in newer installments are always valid, regarding platform it's a little "let's throw some stuff to the wall, make noise and see if something sticks on it".

As for the entusiasts, in US... those are a minority, if Capcom wanted to sell only to them... well, you get the point. Also if they played the game it was on playstation consoles, so of course it'll be like that... but how about looking at it backwards, FF's before FF7 came out on Nintendo consoles, if they had looked at that, what community people wanted and expected... they expected FF7 on N64. Shouldn't they have switched for a much bigger public?

If anything, we should be seeing the same now with the Wii, not just with MH3, but with a major number of franchises, not crappy spin-off's, not some party game... But going all out on the platform.

You guys should just accept it at this point, they didn't do it for PS3 for some reason, some related to hardware architecture, cost and sales... some probably due to Nintendo paying them for the exclusivity or helping promote the game. But either way... their pipeline is not ready to do the game for two platforms that are way too diferent, you'd end up with two games. And we could go on and on.

There've been no announcements to that effect. Sorry. I certainly understand all of the arguments for it.

Agreed on both counts. I would say that the team made MH Portable/Freedom work great with six buttons and one analog stick. I'd suspect there will be some magic there too.

Yet more patience is required... no news to share at this time.

First of all, Marcus, just to let you know, the chances are very slim that Capcom releases MH3 for both Wii and PS3 (and possibly Xbox360), since they are very different consoles. Like Pedro said, they might as well make completely different games. Also, please don't make wrong assumptions. You (and most MH+PS3 fans) are assuming that just because MH3 is being released on the Wii, Capcom is going to scew it up, or it will be a failure, it won't go online, etc. The fact is that we know nothing about the game. Therefore, unless you can tell the future, you can't say anything. In addition, Capcom (and every other company) does A LOT of research and works out lots of deals before making decisions like that.

I've been thinking about these questions and complaints about MH on the Wii, and I've realized that they are pretty annoying. But truth to be told, they have more passion than anything else! Everytime I read that someone bought a PS3 just to play MH, part of me thinks they're stupid because they did it too early. But the other side of me admires such person for buying a freaking expensive console to play ONE game (in my favorite franchise). That's loyalty to the franchise! That's true fandom! That's a true Monster Hunter! So, I feel bad for things going wrong for these people.
I also realize I should stop trying to make these people accept that they are wrong... because they are not! That's right. You guys are doing the right thing! You have a complaint to make regarding one of Capcom's decisions, and here's the place to do it. And the best part of it is that they (Seth, Sven, etc) read your complaints and don't ignore them! I am 100% sure that every time you see a large amount of people addressing the same issue, Capcom notices it. If there's a lot of people complaining that MH3 should be on the PS3 at the MH forum, Capcom must have already seen it. Just take a minute to count how many things Capcom did for the fans...

So, keep up the good work guys!
Just, please don't use console exclusivity as an excuse. Seriously, it's bulls*** Capcom doesn't owe anything to any console.

Finally, I would like to appologize to Chase for trying to put down his passion for the Ps3 with MH...

Happy Hunting (on the PSP for now...)
