Okami II.  Where is it?

Yeah, yeah, I think we all kinda know the answer already, but...still!   Do you Capcom folks think that a full fledged sequel might be in the cards after the Wii version?  Should we give up hope or is there at least a greater than 50% chance of it happening in the next 2-3 years?

Hi everyone! This is my first post on this interesting site...

I come from Italy and I love Capcom (my secondo favourite soft house, only behind Nintendo)

Me too interested in a possible sequel for Okami, but without Clover, I think it will be very difficult to develop....

I think we need a lot more people buying the current version before we seriously consider a sequel.

Okami is by far the most beautiful game I've played. It really is too bad that it isn't selling more...even on Wii.

Sven, could you give us any info on worldwide sales of Okami and Zack & Wiki, or is that asking for too much?

Alas, unless our investor relations team gives out the numbers, I can't do so. And in both cases, they haven't.

But I can give you this:

No doubt!Cry

I'm trying to talk about this masterpiece as much as I can, hoping people will buy it someday.....

However I can say that, there in Italy, it's very difficult to find.... only hardcore gamers know about it... maybe a little of advertise coul helpWink

Seeing that the game didn't sell that well on two different systems I think chances are small. Why it doesn't sell is a big question to me. I have the game for Wii and as a long time Zelda fan I can say that everyone that enjoys Zelda games will have a blast with Okami.

I said this before: it really doesn't help that the game isn't even on store shelves (here in Europe). Sven: could you tell me why that is, do retailers decide that all by themselves? There must be people working at Capcom that make sure the big retailers know that they have a Game of the Year coming out for Wii?

It's true!

In big markets (there in Italy) nobody knows about it, I bought my copy in a small shop dedicated exclusivly to games.... and they had only few copies

Oh, let's say that there in Italy Capcom games are distributed by Halifax, a company that often let prices grow too much....
