Hey, Of all the sites I have searched I can't find an answer to this one simple question. Each version of the RE5 Collectors ed. comes with a bonus disc, but you never stated the format of each? Is the PS3 version coming with the bonus disc on a Blu-ray or a DVD? Also is the feature(s) filmed/presented in HD or SD and if HD is the 360 bonus disc a game disc that can only be used in 360's (like the Animated movie with the SF4 Collectors Ed.)? Thanks for your time and help with this.

One of the promotional images shows the PS3 bonus disk is a DVD. I wouldn't expect a blu-ray, I have been asking for weeks and it is ignored like every other PS3 related question.

Don't know why someone wont tell us, I mean it's not like it should be a secret. There is a pic of the European LE that shows both the PS3/360 to be a DVD, but I was not sure if that was the same disc we were getting. Hopefully someone from Capcom will chime in, between emails and forum posts I have always recieved a responce to my questions.

Here is the answer: On 360 - it is a bonus DVD - standard DVD resolution On PS3 - it is a bonus Blu-Ray Disc - yes, the content is HD on this disc.

YES! Sven is this for the UK/Europe as well? I mean on a blu-ray disk, I ask for this because it was an Australian promo shot I seen that indicated it was a SD DVD disk and I believe you guys do the same prints for EU/AU. aang001, it would be unfair to 360 owners to put it on blu-ray or HD DVD as it isn't assured they will be able to play it back, on the PS3 they are assured as all have a blu-ray player. I suppose they could have shipped on 2 360 disks to ensure HD playback but a lot of 360 owners seem to get fraustrated with that due to the noise the 360 generates. I believe it also costs significantly more to produce it like this.

You do realize, standard DVD's only playback 480P material, right? It's a limitation of the format.
