One of the promotional images shows the PS3 bonus disk is a DVD. I wouldn't expect a blu-ray, I have been asking for weeks and it is ignored like every other PS3 related question.

Don't know why someone wont tell us, I mean it's not like it should be a secret. There is a pic of the European LE that shows both the PS3/360 to be a DVD, but I was not sure if that was the same disc we were getting. Hopefully someone from Capcom will chime in, between emails and forum posts I have always recieved a responce to my questions.

480p?! Ouch! Why not 720p or 1080i? That's almost wii resolution...That hurts

YES! Sven is this for the UK/Europe as well? I mean on a blu-ray disk, I ask for this because it was an Australian promo shot I seen that indicated it was a SD DVD disk and I believe you guys do the same prints for EU/AU.

aang001, it would be unfair to 360 owners to put it on blu-ray or HD DVD as it isn't assured they will be able to play it back, on the PS3 they are assured as all have a blu-ray player. I suppose they could have shipped on 2 360 disks to ensure HD playback but a lot of 360 owners seem to get fraustrated with that due to the noise the 360 generates. I believe it also costs significantly more to produce it like this.

You do realize, standard DVD's only playback 480P material, right? It's a limitation of the format.

I did not know this....  this info explains so much...
