I was thinking...what if you guys brough out your own console.....make every capcom game exclusive to this system....have all your games dowloadable even if they are 7 gbs just to get away from pirating somehow.....and bring us every capcom game in hd remix.....or at least the popular ones...have you guys ever thought of this lol

They came close with the Dreamcast... I know, it was a SEGA game console, but Capcom made it theirs with lots of top quality game and franchises.
E3 2009 in a nutshell: Motion Control is king (and has been since 2006) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"Next-Gen consoles (Xbox 360 & PS3) are simply that, what came "next". That is, they're merely a continuation of what came before. You play games the same old way, using a similar control scheme. New-Gen consoles (Wii) aren't required to use new technology to be new. They can use old technology but in a NEW way. And that's the difference between Next and New gen"--Meristation

In the 90s, there was a very small run of Capcom hardware that were effectively based on the CPS2 system. It ran CPS2 ROMs and was meant to compete with the NeoGeo. I know at least one collector at Microsoft who has one. :) So the answer is, once upon a time "yes". But since that time, no, we're a content company, not a hardware company.

That's cool! I wonder if there are still any more that still exists in the market today...
I figured it was NeoGeo but the thought of a Capcom console would really be surprising. Maybe it would take the name of Capsole or Concom.haha

the flop console systems I know are Jaguar, 3DO, NeoGeo, and Sega CD. the last of these four being obvious who made them. and yes I know about Virtua-Boy from Nintendo but that was really more of a weird bad-idea "portable"-ish.

What's it called? I'd love to know more about this mystery system.

EA would stand a better chance in doing this even with it's recent shortcomings. Just saying. >_> Would you guys want to buy another console just for Capcom games though?
