I think capcom already realizes strider has a lot of potential and its probably in their strategy plan, but if its 2-3 years away, there is no way you're gonna hear about it so soon
We never know,everything is possible.

Hey, thanks. Yeah, that's my site. It's not as big or as fancy as some fansites, but it's mine. Anyway... to echo a sentiment voiced earlier in the thread, I think a current-gen Strider is at least being considered. Inafune's comments seem to suggest that. As to whether or not they'll go ahead and make one... well, that's anybody's guess.
HIEN: "Hiryu... why... have you become so strong...? Why... can you... believe in yourself... so much...?"
HIRYU: "... ... That's what the Striders are, Hien."

I can say at this exact moment, there is nothing in development, but as Inafune said, we have discussed the potential for such a project. I think there's interest in it from several facets of the company.

Well, it's good that there's interest from several parties, if nothing else. Just to clarify, though... what do you mean by "it"? A current-gen Strider game? An HD Remix/ReArmed-style treatment? Or just generally raising the profile of the series, perhaps by releasing the PSone collection on PSN/XBLA?
