Very nice of you to clear things up. I just finished the game today. I loved it. I still stand by opinion on the controls, but that aside, this was my favorite RE yet :D.

That's exactly how it's supposed to work.

- Good.

- Anyway, no problem if you had stated "Bad luck. It's an unlock". ;)

Sorry, but how do you know this when the content isn't even released yet?

- We have unlockable context and expansion context. Yup, don't take my word as official, but I needn't to be a genious to figure it from patterns. Plus, what do you expect from a file shorter than 500k? An expansion pack or a unlock key? ;)

I mean, you shouldn't present something as fact when you're making wild assumptions.  You don't know that the file is under 500KB.  I'm not stupid.  I know that would be an unlock code.  Everyone would.  But no one knows if that's the case or not until it's released, or we get official word from Capcom.

Lost Planet expansion was a true download.  You're citing no actual expansion content.  You're only citing aesthetic unlockables... not substantive.

EDIT: Just read Sven's post.  There.  We have confirmation and I have absolutely no problem with this type of DLC.

Wow this is the first time I heard that there is some DLC for resident evil 5.   So was it ever stated what would be in the DLC?

Versus info was in the demo, meaning it was planned months in advance. How much budget does it take to tweak & polish some altered spawn points? The mode is hardly a huge departure from the original solo and co-op Mercs.

The DLC for RE5 is looking awesome. I mean it is only 400 points/$5 for two new modes. 400 points is pretty cheap for that kind of content.

My only question is if there will be more DLC in the future for RE5. More game modes or characters/costumes? Maybe something else?

No worries.  I just didn't want people to be misled.  There's enough of that on the internet.  Smile

DLC = Disc Locked Content

Intentionally keeping something finished out just to milk money is not the right way to go about this.
