Will you please reconsider the SFIV menu music in upcoming patches?

As an avid SF player, I would pay money to remove this song from the menus. HD Remix has a similar issue, and I was saddened to see it has made its way into SFIV.


After a couple weeks of playing SFIV, I am mentally fatigued after hearing that Exile song every time I browse through the menu screens. After every ranked match is over, the song starts again from the beginning- and it has personally become a special form of torture. From a sound design point of view, I would think that a small problem like this could really go a long way toward the longevity of the game's enjoyment (especially in the online modes).


While I realize we are able to play our own custom music (on the 360 at least), I still truly enjoy the rest of the music in the game. Will you at least consider adding some kind of randomization or playlist selection to the sound option menu? We all love this game, but I think I speak for everyone when I say - don't let a single song ruin the amazing experience that has become Street Fighter IV.

I have actually been hitting mute on my TV every time I play ranked matches. It makes the experience that much more bothersome to deal with.  It just baffles me that they would allow you to customize each character's voice in the game, but we are stuck with a single repetitive song for the menu.


At the very least, just allow us to disable it separately from the in-game music?

If you have the soundtrack from the collector's edition, you could use that as the custom music.

Also you could switch the cut-scene language to Japanese. Trust me when I say this song is far less annoying in Japanese, and Thank you Jesus I've almost forgoten the lyrics.
