I'd really like an answer to this. Xbox Live (trademarked as Xbox LIVE[1]) is an online multiplayer gaming and digital media delivery service created and operated by Microsoft Corporation. It is currently the only online gaming service (on consoles) that charges users a fee to play multiplayer gaming. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_Live
This doesn't answer my question: "This is the part where I get to say "BS"," he wrote on the Capcom forums. "RE5 is well worth every penny of $60. A huge game, with tons of replay value, loads of unlockables, new weapons, co-op, mercenaries mode, etc. If any game warrants its price point, it's RE5. "Prior to the announcement of the Versus mode, no one complained they weren't getting their money's worth with the initial release because it packs TONS of value because it is an amazing game. So if people were already satisfied with what the package had, when we offer MORE, why is it people feel they've been somehow cheated? If you don't find value in our secondary offerings, the choice is simple, don't purchase it. If you do find it valueable (and we hope you do) please do buy it and enjoy it." Svensson goes on to explain that any downloadable content that Capcom does has a budget separate from the main game. "Secondly, whenever we do PDLC, that content exists with its own budgets, it's own profit and loss analaysis with its own forecasts. If it didn't, that extra content wouldn't have been put into production, because it did not fit within the production budget of the base product. "The content that is shipping in the full game exists within its own budget. The content shipping afterward (regardless of how close to release it is... because the goal IS to have it release relatively closely to the base product's release) exists within its own budget. To try and have it release in a timeframe that is relatively close to the initial release, development starts well before the base product is on the shelves. There's no other way to keep it within 3 to 6 weeks of the initial release (which is the goal)." Source: http://kotaku.com/5170633/capcom-calls-bs-on-resident-evil-5-dlc-complaints

I pay for PSU and Gold membership to play online PLUS my Cable bill?
Considering the amount of content that was in re5, + the extra multi mode. COnsidering RE% never had a Multi mode. I don't see the issue givin all reasons Capcom has givin?

The reasons given don't answer my question. I pay for Xbox Live to play the multiplayer modes. Capcom want money for multiplayer modes. Am i missing something?

Stop closing our threads! Just because you give us an answer does not mean the answer is satisfactory or the issue is "through." There is plenty more to discuss and we should be allowed to rephrase our questions, demand more satisfactory responses, and debate the validity of the responses we've been given. Because one person is tired of "hearing us complain" and requests that the thread be closed doesn't justify it to be done so. The issue is NOT done. The fact that I'm saying it's not done shows that at least ONE fan (this one) believes that there's a more satisfactory answer out there. And if I never get it, the issue remains just as valid as when it was first poised. |

Rules were broken, that simple. Follow the Rules and Guidlines and I wont have to close the threads. Coming into Valve's thread and changeing the subject is only gonna get this thread closed. He wants a answer from Capcom, Let him have it and not fill this thread with all your other issues and past issues. THAT SIMPLE.

You say "we're breaking the rules" but you don't tell us what rules we break. You punish the majority because of a few rotten apples. A question may be answered, but sometimes more answers arise from this question, and more questions need to be asked in relation to the first question. I don't mean to accuse you of bias, but you told me straight out that you "dont really care about the issue at hand", so perhaps you're not the best person to be involved in moderating this discussion. We have far more to discuss and the issue is far from being "through". |

They are just looking for reasons to close threads. Doesn't matter if there are 1000 responses that follow the rules, all it takes is just one irrate person for them to close the thread and sink it into oblivion. Yuffie, you said you had the power to delete content, why not just delete the content that breaks the rules instead of locking a thread with dozens of valid points and thousands of unanswered questions? You know these threads are going to keep popping up,why not keep them all in one thread? Do you like having a cluttered board? |
