I second Trish's post. There is obviously more maturity going on in them then in all of everyone else's combined.

And besides, Yuffie is doing the job assigned, albeit a little more strictly than other mods.

You come here, on Capcom Forums , full of its Fans and insult them. What do you expect, Rounds of clapping?

Of course your gonna get modded.

Oh please, the last post I made had nothing to do with insults to anyone.  You just modded it because you didn't like it.  We were insulted before we even came on here, by Capcom itself with their crappy business lately.  Then we come here and get further insulted by the fanboys and mods.  You said it yourself, this forum is full of Capcom fans, God forbid anyone have a complaint.  Especially when the mods are fanboys themselves.

To ValveLover:

Oh, you don't have the game? Sorry about that, then. But seriously, you have no standing complaining about this game if you don't even have it. Also, I highly reccommend you not get it if versus is all you want, because this game is all about solo and co-op. I don't think you would like it.

I pay for comcast, why do I have to pay for LIVE? Its a silly question. We'd have more to agree on if there were more valid arguments. I still dont like this DLC fiasco, but really, Sven doesnt need to answer this.

Capcom, there really is no justification for charging for the Resident Evil 5 dlc multiplayer modes.

If there was, i'd have had a reply by now?

I'll make a deal with you.

Release the multiplayer modes for free, and you'll never hear from me ever again*.

I'll go out and buy Resident Evil 5 and any other games i fancy that have the word Capcom on the box.

Otherwise (as stated elsewhere on the forums) i'll never buy another Capcom game.

*Unless of course, you release another game and hold back on the multiplayer modes and try to sell them as dlc at a later date.

There is, it's obvious, you know it, but you're just trying to force them to say it openly.

Why would they? Just because you demand they do it?

So you didn't even buy the game, yet you act like they just took a million dollars from you and owe it to you to make them cater to your needs.

So if they don't give the DLC for free, you're saying you'll continue trolling the place even though you're not actually a dissatisfied costumer but a potentially dissatisfied customer.

Trish said it very well, nothing wrong with voicing your displeasure with the current situation, but there's a right way to do it.

Yes. We do appreciate your enthusiasm, dear, but you need to pace yourself. Rambling off the same question over and over again sounds like a broken record and eventually you become an annoyance rather than an asset to the cause, which drowns out the voices of those who are making fresh, valid complaints.

Again, if you want to be heard, get your friends and peers involved to back you up. Backing yourself up doesn't do much, but others will validate your points.

One person on here, for example, stated that he works within the game industry and that DLC is hurting his job as a game developer just as much as it hurts us as a consumer. Having someone on the opposite side, someone MAKING games, sympathize with us says far more than one embittered fan demanding an answer.

The more people who are aware of what's going on, the more unique complaints will be levied.

Choose your battles wisely, hun. No one is saying you're wrong, but while your point is valid, if you go about this the wrong way and resort to harrassment, you're no better than the people who caused you to be upset in the first place.

Basicly what I said at the closed thread...nobody is forcing you to download and buy it...that is up to you.  But I feel you RE5 was a big let down for me.

"He's showing off his collection like "Auction noobs! Here's a real winner :D" haha.

But I feel that "nobody is forcing you" argument can only go so far.

You could release an incomplete game with the ending locked and "nobody is forcing you to buy the ending", and you'd be right. Nobody IS forcing anyone to do anything.

But if you want to enjoy the full content of the game released, then you ARE forced to pay extra, be it for difficulty modes, costumes, or multiplayer modes.

Edit: In similar news, does anybody else see the "views" for this thread at "0"? The previous threads about this have combined over "7000" views, making it one of the most viewed topics in this forum.... ever. It strikes me as odd that this one is still at "0"....

As long as the game is completed...then that is it.  The extra content cost them money too you know. Also do you really need an expansion pack for GTA4? Is the chapter worth it?  People just play the game to be serial killers...(terrible ones at that.)  This is just like the DLC for SF4...do you really need to see Chun's second costume?  If you do pay for it.   I am not saying this is right...but who am I to say otherwise I didn't make the damn game, my company didn't tell me to do this way and the network people bossed us around, lol.

But Street Fighter IV's costumes were completed long before the game was sent out. They were in the arcade for over a year before the console players got ahold of them. And the RE5 Versus mode has all its assets on the disc and is thoroughly covered by the strategy guide, which was written well in advance before the game was shipped, meaning it was "completed" to. So at what point do you consider a game "completed"? Would the game still be complete if mercenaries mode had been locked or if Street Fighter's trial modes had been withheld as DLC?

Does the game "need" the modes? Do they need ANYTHING? Did it need co-op? Did it need alternate costumes? Did it need vehicle sections? Did it need a real-time menu? What a game "needs" or not is irrelevent in regards to what it has intentionally withheld. Apparently there are people who care enough about competative versus mode to levy complaints about its exclusion and additional cost.
