Just seems like this was planned for PS3 and not X-box and you're stuck double paying. It's not like Capcom would make any money from you paying for X-box Live anyway, just Microsoft. Hey, if RE5 is coming for PC, how will the online work there? Will they charge for it seperately, and if so, how? |

Prob Steam or LIVE...
Or both I dont know.. I saw Lost Planet Colonies for LIVE on PC I think thats something a lot of PC games need..but also optional as Pc gamers might not want to pay to play..

It's sad that we have to make 1000s of post/ threads in Capcom's official forums, all over the net in different game sites to only get ignored by Capcom, the one company that we hoped would listen to their fans, But they act like politicians and give answers that don't even answer the questions we ask and get mad when we tell them we don't understand how they gave a 5min answer to a "yes" or "no" question that made absolutely no sence. If they truely believed they were right they wouldn't dance around the matter at hand. Even if the answer was "we want to nickle and dime you for all your worth, so we can continue golfing at your expence." or " Well we were kind of in a bind, so we want you to pay for things that should be free, to help us out. My bad! I didn't think you'd notice...", but nothing is being handled correctly from the dlc, to the explanation of the charge to the handling of the customers questions! This was, if anything a huge wake up call. Capcom is a company out to make money even if they have to step on and loose most of their customers. They can still gain new ones and there is always someone to replace us. We're expendable. Let's face it. That is basically what I'm getting from it. There is only one Capcom, so if they say bend over and take it, we drop our pants and wait for what's coming. Capcom:"Do you want the rest of what you paid for? Then pay me again." (sounds similar to the mob, huh?) "Okay, now that you paid me, drop your pants and when I grab you, make sure to cough..." I've been a fan a long time of Capcom and if I think about it carefully, They haven't really changed. How many versions of SF2 or 3 came out? I'm just older and more aware of what's going on. It's the same thing, different form, but now a new twist! They can keep you from accessing what you've paid for and charge more to grant you access to it! Best part to this all is that if you feel like Capcom is sticking the screws to you by denying a mode that should have came with the game you paid for, your told you can simply not buy it( again) and it will be locked from you, and you will be left out of this great new expirence that could extend your game's life. Once you hear this your outraged and the RE fans are divided between the ones that care about getting spit on, the ones who dont know they're getting spit on and the ones who open their mouths...sadly in the end, if more people doesn't wake up, the later of the 3 groups will outweigh the ones who have their heads in the switched "on" position. |

Im beyond done typing on this subject...I hope other have more energy to continue this, cause Im done. Now my RE5 has been collecting dust since I beat everything and VS mode might have been that mode that could've stopped my boredom, but it's not unlocked yet, so here I am waiting to be bumped into by capcom via pdlc and tell mommy I was on tv today! And when she ask me why, I can proudly say I was robbed!!! LOL! But it's all good. They told me there was another transformer inside the toy I had, after they took my money! If I hadn't had it happen to me twice I knew would've known...LOL! I think Ill just read the post on this matter from now on... |

Capcom isn't robbing you. Sure, they're being a little stingy, but they aren't taking anything from you. EDIT: Oh, and since I know you'll say something to the extent of how the content is already on the disc, I've already explained the reason why this is incorrect. For those of us who remember, let's play frisbee! |

@ValveLover
Lets try this. I payed for call of duty 4, I payed for XBL, I payed for my internet. Why pay again for maps, when Ive already payed three times over to enjoy that game? Sounds silly, right? I understand your frustration, I do. There are valid arguments to support our concerns. Nick has made most of them very clear (thank you nick). If that content happens to already be on the disc, then yes, its a shame we're getting charged. If it was already done before the game but it was just left out for 'DLC', then yes, its a shame we're getting charged. However, Sven has stated that the content is not an unlock key, so thats one down. I do believe that this was ready in time for the game, so I am just as frustrated, if. IF (big 'IF) this content was made after the launch, and it is offered as DLC, then there is no reason to complain about a purchase through XBL. If that were the case, everyone could bitch about paying for DLC while paying for XBL at the same time. The point of my ignorant-multiple posts was to prove that Sven may be just as, if not more, busy than you were in answering my question. |
