Ive been reading a lot about the new OnLive service and I remember sven saying something about Digital Distribution being the future of gaming for PCs. What are your thoughts on consoles? If capcom were to start with this service and it was successful, would the company ever stop producing hard copies? Do you think any company for that matter would only produce digital versions of games? Do you think OnLive is just the first step towards a digital future in gaming?

Just remembered. Youre probably a little busy at GDC :P. Did you get to vote for Fallout 3's GOTY prize?

This could be a subject of a post that is FAAAAAAAAAR too long than I have time to write so I'll do it in bullet point form:

• Digital is the future (the near future) - we're already doing titles that are digital only and have in fact shipped more than eight of them in the past two years with a long roadmap of more to come.
• That said retail isn't going away... what retail sells may or may not actually have bits on physical media.
• OnLive creates interesting conversations around software as service, but I do not believe it fundamentally changes anything. If anything, I'm happy to see it shining more light on the excellent experiences afforded by PC gaming.
