^^ Buy this also for the love of a sequel, MvC3 or MSH2 :D

I sort of hope they do Marvel Super Heroes 2 before MvC3. I hope DeadPool is in the game for once.

I'm confident that some work or planning for MvC3 is already at hand. Sven couldn't just come out and say it. But if you read what he posted, it's very possible for a third installment. SFIV came out after the success of Street fighter 2 hd- remix. I'm confident MvC3 will do the same. One thing though, I think MvC3 should stay strictly 2D. If they do something like SFIV, some fans will like it and some will not. Plus I think the game will be more true to itself and fans and newcomers alike will enjoy the third installment if it stayed strictly 2D.

Remember how he gave us the run around with MvC2 or MvC in general. I'd say they're up to something? They know that MvC3 would be their highest selling game.

The format really needs to stay 3v3. Look what happened to when they tried to change the formula with TvC, it failed. But had some genuine ideas.

They did not get the rights back. This is pretty common knowledge.
That's not true.

Thus far there is no evidence supporting the fact that Capcom has reacquired the license. It had been rumored for months that MvC2 was going to be coming to XBLA and PSN, which turned out to be true however it's been confirmed that said deal only pertains to MvC2 and it only meaning that as far as MvC2 goes Capcom still apparently doesn't have the fighting game license.

Based on what Sven said it almost sounds as if Marvel is holding onto the license or that Capcom (and Marvel) want to see how good MvC2 does before entering negotiations about the fighting game license.

I totally believe you that Capcom doesn't have the license. But I can also say that I think Capcom will obtain the license very soon. I also believe that Capcom is waiting to see if MvC2 is actually highly demanded or if it's just a few fan boys whinning for it. Whatever the reason, I'm confident we will be hearing something in the near future. :)

What Sven is basically saying. Buy the MvC2 DL if you wanna see MvC3 become a reality.

Lvl3 note: make sure you get your friends and family to buy it as well

But why do I get the feeling you guys are already working on MvC3... in some form? I bet you'll make a announcment at Comic Con.

At e3,capcom is gonna announce 2 games. So all those damn spectaculation and that awful marvel conspiration can all re-start as soon as i press the start button

Not until the EA relationship had ended there wasn't.

LOL its marvel vs capcom I dont see it doing anything but good, as long as its not riddled with bugs like HD Remix. Im rather sure it will sell well at least here in NA, I heard japan dont really like the vs series though, why is that ?

So does this mean the Capcom relationship has NOW started? (which is good news!)
