Amen, Rock. I wouldn't be concerned with many/any balance/move changes even, just the netplay and the filters and I'd be a very happy man. No ugly new art assets necessary! The upscaling lag when playing SFAC on my PS3 makes me pretty sad, but we still play the hell out of it on the old CRT we have here. MvC2 is gonna make us all happy, don't get me wrong, but if this was the next project in the pipe I'd love Capcom so much more for it! |

Broken record time. Yes, 3rd Strike needs to be released on PSN/360 in mostly the same way that MvC2 is being done and does NOT need an HD Remix in any way. It still looks, and plays fantastic the way it is and always has done. It's a tried and tested standard that's yet to be surpassed, IMO. With regards to it being done similarly to MvC2, filters etc. are all good but I'm not sure everyone would be overly keen on a 16:9 option, but no doubt there'd be a standard 4:3 option. Please do it! 3rd Strike for PSN/360! |

I approve of SFIII HD Remix, though maybe a SFVI with characters from III and IV plus new ones and drawn, anime graphics would be just great. |

Third Strike is great, but I can't agree with you on that. |

I agree with this statement. As much as I would love to see SF3 redone with HD sprites, the cost would be too great to make it worth it. I would instead work on implementing a quality HD filter that would make the sprites transition to 1080p nicely and an OPTIONAL REBALANCED mode. Provide slight nerf tweaks to the top 3, Ken, Chun Li, and Yun. For Ken, make his third Super Art only one or two bars instead of three. For Chun Li, make her second Super Art one bar and maybe a little longer. For Yun, the Genin Jin super bar should be longer (but lasts at the same rate as before). Beef up the lower tiers such as Twelve and maybe make Sean play more like his Second Impact self. The other thing that I would add are backgrounds from Second Impact. For example, give Yang the interior shop background from Second Impact and Ken his San Francisco page. Add SFHD quarter match lobbies and GGPO and you have a XBLA/PSN remake that will make 3rd Strike fans really happy. |

To each his own, I just prefer my fighting games not broken. |

Hmmmm...Let me just say...Stop whining. If you have a 360, and internet connection and a copy of Street Fighter anniversary Edition go and play it online right now. That is what I did. After I got bored of all the SFIV I just went back to third strike. However, there are not as many players online now. I honestly don't care about a HD remix...I would just be happy (and would buy SFIII for a 5th time) with PSN or XBLA versions untouched with online play. I think what you guys did for SFIV online service was much more stable, and I would be happy to have it updated. |

I half-agree with this. Just picking up SF:AE for Xbox isn't much of a solution, because the online play in it is nothing short of atrocious. SFIV's input delay is unacceptable for a timing-heavy game like 3s. This is a game that needs a re-release on PSN and XBLA, with HD Remix's online play. MVC2's sprite shaders are optional. |
