Hey Capcom, complaint about Street Fighter 4 matchmaking.

Im tired of your crappy matchmaking system. I am getting paired up with people who have 4-16 times my BP. my highest bp is 600 and i got paired with someone who has 9890 bp. This is not fair. As it is you guys put Ken in the game so all the spammers who use ken have 2000 bp. But ppl who are giving your original characters a chance are having trouble with Kens nonsense. To top it off I dont get anyone in my bp range. This is irritating, and frankly I might just go back to playing the superior 3rd strike. So my question is are you guys going to fix the online matchmaking or not.? Because things cant continue like this.

You know you could setup your match making to "same skill" And plus, is not Capcom's fault for your lack of skill. Not to sound like a prick, but everyday there's a thread on "This character is cheap" This is already old. If you want to get good at any game, there's various forums that provides info on match-ups and such. Cut the BS and practice. With only 600 BP's your clearly in need for some training.

Doing player matches and meeting people there is a good way to level up. So venture into that first, before going into rank matches. And plus, try doing each characters command training(To get a idea)So you won't be surprise, or confuse on certain setups. Oh, and Youtube is your Friend :)

I was frustrated cos I am not getting used to a pad. Always been a stick user, I play Abel very well with a stick, but Ive been practicing with him with a pad cos my stick broke, and its hard. That is the reason I have only 600 bp. bp has nothing to do with skill. Many people in the 2000-4000 bp range are skilless and just spam shoryuken after shoryuken and hadouken after hadouken. Once I get a new stick, or once I get used to this stupid pad,  i will be able to play better. But until then, I guess Ill just practice.

As a side note, I use Abel, sooo its not that easy to go up in bp. He isnt a spam character either..

I think it's in the latest update box whenever you play it.

I play Abel w/a dpad on PS3 and am hovering around 2600 BP in ranked. Also working my way through CE and sitting at G3-A atm. Not sure what stick vs. pad means. I've always used stick @the arcade and dpad at home. (This is all understandable though if you mean the 360 pad).

Dude, that sucks your not use to playing on a pad, especially on a 360 one, ouch. Does rank really matter to you that much? Just play with your friends, and have fun until you could snag a Arcade Stick. HORI is dropping some BlazBlue sticks by mid June, I believe,  or wait for the Marvel vs Capcom stick from MadCatz.

And BTW, I don't know how you never got prompted for a Update......I remember, it was different for the 360, you have to Download the "Championship Mode" from the Marketplace(It's free)It was different on the PS3(Multi Copy owner)The PS3 version was a straight update.

Yeah, the implementation of the update on the 360 was weird.  You download a patch, then you go to marketplace and download CE for free.

hey guys thanks for the consolation, lol. I use the fightpad, but I am not used to pads, two days ago was my first time playing a fighting game with a pad. That is why most of my moves weren't ever coming out. I have practiced a lot since then and gone on shoryuken.com to find out how to battle hadouken spammers. They said to eat up the hadoukens till my Ultra gets full and then release the Ultra. LOL. Boy did it work. I just got done playing some Akuma player who kept spamming orange hadoukens, air hadoukens and regular ones. I jumped over his air hadoukens and did COD, also used a lot of rolls into throws, then towards the end he kept spamming so I finished him with an ultra.

I have gotten better so its not bad at all now. I dont care about rank, it was just losing to someone that I knew for a fact I could wipe the floor with with an arcade stick , that was pissing me off. Sorry Capcom, and its users for this thread.

Also how do I implement championship mode on the 360. I downloaded it, but I dont see it anywhere. The input thing is in the training mode tho, and that was part of the pack, so someone help please.
