Who else (besides me) would love to see this game? I would LOVE for it to be an Wii exclusive game, (I am aware of Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Ultimate All Stars! but instead of Tatsunoko pretend it was X-Men). It would look and be 20 times better than the PS1 version. And the roster would be (18 each, 36 total):
X-Men: Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Rogue, Iceman, Pyro, Angel, Magneto, Mystique, Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Shadowcat, Colossus, Jean Grey and Sentinel. Secert Character: Ultimate Cyclops. (Just like in Capcom vs. SNK 2, Ultimate Rugal.)
Street Fighter: Ryu, Ken, Chung Li, Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Zangief, Evil Ryu, Sakura, Guile, Cammy, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison, Akuma, Gouken, and Dan. Secert Character: Shin Akuma.
Do you hope this game becomes a reality one day?

- The official words were: 1. Take Marvel vs Capcom 2 as a better and final product. 2. The Marvel license is for MvC2 only, AFAIK. - So, no chance for now. |

I'm quite pleased to see a topic such as this today. I've been thinking about this idea (Xmen vs SF 2) for quite some time, but never thought anyone else would be interested, seeing as MvC2 is waaaaaay more popular (and it deserves it). But I think it could work. Just get the SF4 characters, add some Alpha and 3rd Strike characters to the mix, put it all with some of the coolest X-Men in a neat and fresh fighting system and we're done. Perhaps it could be the first tag team based game with the parry system from SF3...

What for? Xmen=Small part of Capcom...and we already have MvC...so let us stay with that!

I dont think this could happen.Here why; Activision is the owners for x-men specific games and this is a specific x-men games because it x-men vs sf 2.So as a result capcom can`t do it.The fighting games license is for the entire marvel universe,not x-men only. I know this suck for some,but personnaly,i dont think it needed.I rather see mvc3.Plus wolverine play more than fine to represent the x-men franchise. |
