Glad you are liking it. Please do support this release. A fighting game on a PC was a leap of faith we've made here and as you can see, there's been a lot of optimization versus what could have been just throwing the arcade code over the wall and hoping for the best. Bundles with Mad Catz pads are available in the Capcom store and at Amazon. Digitally, the thing is going to be available everywhere.

I wish you guys the best and hopefully you at least meet your expectations if not exceed them! I know ill be getting two copies already. Have the bundle on pre-order and plan on getting it on steam as well. If i were you guys i would put the benchmark on Steam as well. At this point you need as much advertising as you can. Great work on the optimization. Im sure performance will get even better with the release of newer drivers from both Nvidia & ATi. Keep up the great work on all your PC titles.

The benchmark is absolutely beautiful!! I loved every second - as I stared gaping at the screen with delight! Street Fighter IV has finally landed and prepared to invade.

Now, perhaps I have misinterpreted the recommended system specifications (intel core 2 duo, 2gb ram, gforce 8600 512 vram), which actually gave me an idea that this game would run nicely on my hugely different and obviously much weaker configuration (amd x2 6000, 2gb ram, gforce 8800gts 320mb vram). How naive of me.
Anyway, the game is pretty much unplayable, with frame rate of about 25 fps... Changing the resolution and lowering the game settings doesn't significantly change the frame rate. Now, someone was talking about great optimization...? Perhaps so, if you have Core i7-965 + GTX260-216 (a machine with a power of a hundred or so of xbox360s.) Heck, you don't need to optimize for this.... Just run the emulator.
What I would like to ask is, does anyone have a configuration similar to mine, and what is his/her framerate. Perhapse I am using wrong drivers? Or a gremlin is sleeping on top of my processor, heating it up too much? Or is it just that noone wants to move their lazy arses when it comes to optimize a game with even two (two!) 3d models at the same time on the screen?

...Problem solved. Wasn't a gremlin after all. If you experience the same symptoms, and you have the latest drivers... Uninstall them. I replaced my latest drivers with (much) earlier version, and the game (finally) runs nicely - 60fps and all.
