Is RIVAL SCHOOLS ever going to get remade, or rebooted? I mean c'mon, the game wasn't a flagship of capcom such as Streetfighter, nor was it well known as the fighter games of today such as Tekken, or DOA but there was a large and devoted fanbase.  This game deserves a fresh start with today's technology.  With such an awesome storyline, and fresh look at gaming, I don't understand why Capcom is forgetting about this game.

Completely agree. I loved the original and the DC sequel, and would love to see the series 'rebooted'.

Hopefully, the original will be put as a PSOne Classic on the PSN. We just have to wait....

Yeah, I remember a year ago, I asked a Capcom representative about the franchise, if they even remembered about it at all.

All I got was the stock email of, yes, we are just using energy on other franchises such as dead rising, and devil may cry, and rival schools is still "on hiatus".

They have to stop tantalizing us with glimpses, such as a Rival Schools character, Batsu, in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.  Because Batsu's in the lineup of Tatsu vs Capcom, it doesnt seem as if Capcom forgot about Rival Schools, but...I just want to see the game come out.  I asked all my friends if they remembered this game, and they ALL have fond memories. Not one of them bad.

I have no idea excatly where they said it but I'm sure if you browse through Ask Capcom and search every Rival Schools or Project Justice related topic you should find it.
