Noise Modification Gear for Megaman Starforce 3

I have the import version of SF3. The codes in SF2 were game breaking. The codes for 3 were more balanced, that and there aren't any auto noises that allowed you to use your current folder. There aren't any auto finalized forms, and the extras made the game so much more funner. Plus, wifi had a filter system that allowed you to look for people who use Codes or not. SF3 could of been so much more better, but no. They just decided to mess it all up.

The Noise Kaizou Gear is, once again, sold separately from the game, and the codes are entered similar to the Wave Command Codes. These codes can be used to either grant special bonuses to the player, change his set of White Cards, or grant further boosts to the Finalized Noise.

Noised Hands

One thing that makes the Noise Kaizou Gear differ from the Wave Command Codes lies in Noised Hands. Applying only to granting boosts to the player's current abilities, different codes have different "suits" and "values". The player can install up to 5 codes at a time.

There are 5 different suits - Heart, Diamond, Spade, Club, and Joker. Installing codes of different suits (except Joker) will result in them conflicting, resulting in an overload of "noise", and giving the player bugs in battle. However, forming a Noised Hand will negate any and all bugs, and may grant an additional bonus to the player, stacking on top of the original bonuses. Jokers can substitute any card for the formation of a Noised Hand.

Hand combinations include:

    * 2 Pair: Formed with two pairs of two codes, both having the same value but different suits. No bonuses given.
    * 3 Card: Formed with three codes of the same value but different suits. No bonuses given.
    * 4 Card: Formed with four codes of the same value but different suits. Grants Mega Class +2.
    * 5 Card: Formed with five codes of the same value. All four suits and Joker must be present. Grants Status Guard.
    * Full House: Formed with a "3 Card" and a pair of cards with the same value (different from the "3 Card"). Grants HP +500.
    * Straight: Formed with five codes with different values, forming a consecutive sequence. (e.g. 2-3-4-5-6). Grants HP +300.
    * Flush: Formed with five codes of the same suit. Heart grants Super Armour, Diamond grants Air Shoes, Spade grants Float Shoes, Club grants AntiDamage and HP +200.
    * Straight Flush: Formed with a "Flush" using a single suit. Grants Mega Class +1 and Giga Class +1.
    * Royal Straight Flush: Formed with five codes, all of the same suit, having the values 1, 10, 11, 12, 13. Grants Auto Lock-On.

Actually NKG is way more balanced than Wave Command Cards. The most popular strategy in SF2 was spamming parlyz and freezing cards, which was pretty annoying and even the least skilled player could cause you trouble. NKG is mostly used to get Status Guard which now demands players to think about some new strategies which makes the game more challenging and less repetitive than it was in SF2.

Robert,

I'm trying to get you an answer, but it's not as simple as picking up a phone and getting all the details--lots of people to talk to, lots of translations, and it's also a holiday weekend, slowing everything down.

It's a fair question, but at the moment, I just don't have the details yet. From what I've been able to figure out so far, there will be some additional content made available through the website, but I don't have specifics.

best,

Seth

Ask me about my beard.  Or don't.  It's cool either way.

I doubt that can be accessed through the website. The box would say if it had additional downloadable content. I think that they were just on a deadline and decided to get rid of stuff that would take more time.

But now to the reason why I posted this. Could you give me the code for Red Joker to get the Noise Mod. Gear? (I assume you use Action Replay) I am by no means a hacker at all, but since CoA decided to take this out, it's severely unfair to the US players on Wifi playing people from Japan w/ the ability to use the Noise Mods. Thanks for anything you can give me.

Sorry, but NKG does NOT work on wifi. Not on random anyways, just battle mates. Also, US can't play against JPN game players, wifi won't let them find each other, especially if their using NKG. Your outta luck there.

wow, that shot me out of the sky. Wifi won't be as fun now.

Could you possibly still give me the codes anyway? Me and my friends love to juice up our megamen our own personal way and duke it out. They'd be happy to know I finally got the code. Credit to you of course.
