I really hope so. The original 3 are my favorite and Maverick Hunter X was well made. I liked the graphics, the new voice acting, the new script, and the fact that you could save the Hadouken once you unlock it. It was so annoying having to go back and do that Armored Armadillo stage over and over to get it only to have to do it again if I wanted it. Also, it was pretty cool being able to play as Vile and getting the Z-Buster as one of your upgrades. If there is a Maverick Hunter X2, I hope that you can save the Shoryuken capsule. For Marverick Hunter X3, I hope that you can save the Gold Armor. It would also be pretty cool to have a Zero mode where you can play through the game as Zero normally and not have him die or something (Maverick Hunter X2 and Maverick Hunter X3). Oh and I wonder if Maverick Hunter X2 (if it's made) would finally explain who that darn GREEN BIKER DUDE is!! LOL. |

This late in the game, that doesn't seem terribly likely... I'm more crushed over the lack of a sequel to MM Powered Up, since MM2 is a game that appeals to me a great deal more than the original. But I suppose people like me not buying MMPU are part of what got us into that situation! That said, MHX was an amazing love letter to fans of the original MMX, and more of that would always be welcome! While we're fielding questions though (and I know this is a bit off-topic, but hopefully someone at Capcom might read over while in this thread!), are MHX and the older Capcom PSP titles available on PSN at the moment? If not, are there plans to move more of that catalog there when the PSP Go hits? |

I'd have to say that if/when MHX hits the PSN, that it may become an option depending on how it does. Then again with the PSP Go being a prime connector to the PSN, it may take that route as the option... Might...

Well, I think it would be wise for Sony to not go with the PSP route and instead opt to stick with the UMD format at least until through the PSP's life. Also, maybe they could do both a PSN release and a physical/regular game release. |

You're more likely to see X9 or MM10 before MHX2-3 me thinks. I'd love to see them though. But those things were damn expensive and didn't produce the needed numbers. Love em though. |

Sorry, I've got nothing to talk about on these. :(

I still wish that they (MHX and MMPU) would be ported to PSN and Xbox LIVE Arcade, at least, where they could be stacked alongside comparable titles such as Mega Man 9 and Bionic Commando Rearmed, see if they do any better in that arena. A PSN release of the PSP games would be great, except for the continued requirement of owning a PSP to play them. --LBD "Nytetrayn" |
