Maverick Hunter X2 and Maverick Hunter X3 Being Made?

If PSN games were put up for d/l on PSN, why would there be a requirement to play them on the PSP? It would be better to have the option of playing it on the PSP or the PS3.

>_>

Anyway, I still think that Capcom shoudl continue with MegaMan (franchise) games. Maverick Hunter X2 and X3 should definitely be done for the PSP.

And then we should see PSN exclusive games like MegaMan X9 and stuff. Oh, and I guess maybe a PS3 release of MegaMan X Command Mission 2 would be pretty cool.

Sometimes I really hate the PSP audience. The same people who splooged all over themselves for rehashes of Twisted Metal and Ridge Racer, while also buying the not so great sports games on the system, totally ignored these great games. And now we are all suffering because of it.

Wasn't there talk of putting the PSP version on the PSN to play from the PS3? Could have sworn I remember reading an article or topic about it posted here at Unity.

Perhaps the PSPGo might breath some new life into MM:MHX and MM:PU if Sony and Capcom can offer them from the get go when the PSPGo launches. I know the Wii has its limitations but maybe rework the games as a Wii title but combo the games together. I think the MM:PU level creator would work great with a Wii remote.

I've no doubt expressed such desires myself, but as far as anything official, I cannot remember any such thing ever being said.

I still wish that they (MHX and MMPU) would be ported to PSN and Xbox LIVE Arcade, at least, where they could be stacked alongside comparable titles such as Mega Man 9 and Bionic Commando Rearmed, see if they do any better in that arena.

A PSN release of the PSP games would be great, except for the continued requirement of owning a PSP to play them.

Well, Maverick Hunter X is coming to PSN but it'll be for PSP only.

Anyway, I still think that Maverick Hunter X2 and X3 should get a PSP release (physical and digital download version). All the other X series games are fine as they are.

I liked the remixed music, the item location changes, can get the z-buster instead of the regular buster upgrade, save the hadouken upgrade, being able to play as vile, the anime video thing, the english voices (exceptional job there)...while still maintaining the memorable classic mega man x feel.

Sorry, yeah.  I meant for PS3 owners as well.

They were great games, but didn't do the numbers... at least, not on PSP.  I still think that putting it there in isolation was a bad move.
