BC:R trophy patch - What happened to "real soon"?

So it's been almost two weeks since the BC:R patch was announced.  According to John Diamonon on the PS Blog, the patch was in QA and would be coming "real soon".   I think we can agree that "real soon" has come and gone.  So my questions are these:  Will the trophy go live this week?  Next week?  Sometime in July?  How about in 2009?  What is Capcom's definition of "real soon"?

Real soon in the business world is "Within the quarter".

I work in the business world.  Soon means sometime this month, real soon means a week or so, very soon means in the next few days.  If I were going to produce something within the quarter, I would say "We'll have this to you by the end of this quarter".

Well Capcom(USA), from now on you'r required to include trophies in every game. Can't get away with it any longer ;)

Real soon is a subjective term, but we're not talking in the span of a couple weeks when we say "soon".


In our world of approvals, two weeks, is almost like "now" :)

I'm stoked for the patch because I wicked suck at BC: Rearmed. After the patch I'm hoping to squeeze some more cheeves out of it.

*shrugs* This works out just fine for me.  It'll give me time to get platinum on RE5 and work my way back up the ladder in SFIV.  Maybe even beat Harvey Birdman if it gets here quick (won the auction for the wii version).  Man... all I play is CAPCOM nowadays.  I haven't even played the new Bionic Commando or MHFU yet.


The next game I was going to play/get was Cross-Edge... You have completely under your thumb, I'm frightened @_@.
