hey man im in the exact same boat as you, i followed your steps exactly and everything seems to work EXCEPT, i cant control my second player (neither in game nor character selection). would you mind uploading your .ini files for ppjoy that would be awesome! Ive spent so much time just getting the start button to work heh. But either way thanks so very much for helping me out to get to this stage at least, i just hope you could upload the .ini files!

I've had the PPJoyKey setup for a long time. I use it on emulators that don't support Keyboard (Makaron) on my arcade box with an iPAC. I CANNOT get SF4 to recognize the second player with PPJoyKey. I have a working PPJoyKey config, they are my ONLY 2 joysticks listed on the system, and SF4 seems to recognize the the one 'Joystick" but refuses to let me configure the second joystick. The movement buttons work on both joysticks, but they operate player 1, not for Player 2.
This sucks..... |

Al least here in Uruguay, with a adapter you can use PS2 gamepads in the pc, I am using one on the reloaded version while I wait the steam activation. What if you use two adapters, the one for the ps2 pads on pc (2 pads in one usb) and PS2 adapter from x-arcade to use it on the ps2, i know it's too much, but it's a viable solution.
If some can try this. (it cost me a lot to bring one of this x-arcade from the states to my country)
Thanx I hope this will help |

If you have keystrokes acting on both players you have to unbind every key ingame in options, with Escape.
I noticed in your .ini you dont bind the first button P1 on your Tankstick, i also have trouble having that button to work ingame, whatever key i choose to prog into stick, i can't get this one to work, so all others buttons for P1 are moved down one place. How do you go arround this ? I don't get it pretty much since P2 is working very fine. |

Somehow controller 1, doesn't recognize button 1 as button 1. I moved all the keybindings 1 spot down in PPJoy, left the controller settings in the sfIV launcher exactly the same as controller 2 and it just worked for me.

Just registered to toss in my 2 cents that there is still no solution for those of us running 64-bit operating systems, and that to rely on a third party program (ppjoy) to enjoy the game is pretty lame.
If anyone finds a workable solution for 64-bit OSes please post it, or better yet, Capcom release an optional patch to allow keyboard inputs for player 2! |

Yo que se, apenas me llegue a fin de mes confirmo, pero acá en sudamérica tenemos adaptadores para PS2-PC, así que me imagino que no voy a tener problema, que los llanqees se arreglen.
De donde sos Leandro? |
