When considering a tournament like Evo, there will probably be A LOT of systems and I don't think anyone is patient enough to unlock all the characters, one by one on every PS3. So my questions are the following..


Will there be a Tournament Edition that has all the characters unlocked from the get go?


If not, what do you think should be done if someone who mains one of the console characters but the console didn't have him unlocked? Having one of the unlocked characters as a secondary main is what I expect you to say, but in the same time, I don't think that's fair..

now I may be totally wrong here, but if I remember right..for an early SFC event( maybe the launch party?) didnt they mention they needed to painfully unlock everything for every console they setup, and people who went know how many I'm talking about here.


Now for a big event like EVO again that would be a pain. Maybe like RE5 they might have a patch or update or not. Would prolly speed things up if they did though don't get me wrong. I know I wouldn't mind and open moveable save for my 360 traveling between consoles or having tournys with friends for whatever reason they do not have everything unlocked. But hey, I'll deal with what we have though : )

Yeah, imagine trying to unlock every character for 50+ consoles... I am against banning characters as well. Even Seth. :B


A special patch would be useful.

EVO will definitely have all the console characters unlocked and available on all consoles.
