True that! But really. They're spending relatively little resources on putting these "UMD Legacy" and "PSone Classics" to PSN. I would guess/hope that profits made from downloads will go towards future games; be it a physical and or digital copy.

It's not offical but I think there are problems sony is facing with the PSP.  Conversations I have had with people in video game stores tell me that the PSP 2000 is hackable.  This has caused significant problems for sony. 

I think game designers who have noticed this problem choose to no longer make games for the system.  Sony has released the PSPgo and the PSP3000 which I hear is not hackable (yet)  It's expected that this will bring game developers back to the table to make lot's of games for the PSP.

In my opinion I think capcom's monster hunter series is one of the games that is keeping PSP alive.
