Street Fighter IV for PC delayed yet again??????

Okay, Gamespot said it would be released on July 1st.
Then they caught up with the times like everyone else and delayed it to July 7th.
Now its July 7th, and NO ONE that I know of in the US has it.  I even called some gamestops in CA, where I don't live, just to see if SFIV was just taking a day or 2 to get to the midwest.  But they don't have it either.
Now, amazon is delaying their shipment to July 9th.  What's going on?

It simple.


Today is the Shipping date, aka release date. So if you are near the shipping site you can buy it already. Amazon and such are waiting for theirs to arrive, then they will process it, and send it out. Amazon should have theirs tomorrow, and they are estimating a day to send the stock out.


There is alos a side thing happening where madcatz combo package was late shippign and has caused a delay for capcom's bunble pack.

But I called some in LA, california and they didn't have any.  Where is it shipping from?

Well I had assumed they shipped from cali, but you know what they say about assuming. Now I feel dumb, let me see if I can find out.


 


**edit: As a side note I just recieved a Text Message from Gamestop saying my copy will be arriving in stores tomorrow.

It was never actually delayed. Capcom stated the game will be released on the 7th when concerning with the US.


Gamestop didn't really have the official date so basically, the game is out today but since shipment requires one day for them, Gamestop will have it by tomorrow.

What's taking amazon so long then?  My gamestop said they'd have tomorrow too.  But they' be been sayign that for a while now.

Capcom says the preordered bundles are backordered.

Wal-Mart says the games are sold-out.

Amazon says they will have the stocks on 9th.

None of Gamestops have the game on their shelves.

No one in the US have the game right now except digital download.


 


Capcom confirmed that the bundles are not out of stock. Their shipment to them was delayed . They are on the way to the warehouse and should begin shipping this week.

Gamestop never had the correct release date to begin with and like everyone else, Amazon is getting the shipment.
