Yeah Yeah Yeah I almost forgot.

Character specific stages should always be a must. It's alright not to have it in CvS2 but that's because it's a crossover. I never understood why some fighters or sequels to them don't have that.

Soundtracks are best when they are specific for a character ala Night Warriors, Alpha 2, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men COTA, and as well as other great fighters.

Everyone give support for Four Players option aka Cross Fever for Tatsunoko vs Capcom: UAS update for the console version. Go to the Tatsunoko general discussion and ask for this.

Wow 3 more people, we're gunning for Darkstalkers Chronicle so you would have Night Warriors gameplay and the DS3 cast, the best of both worlds.

Definitely the DS2 gameplay... Something was just off about the DS3 gameplay; same goes for the rather generic stages... I know the storyline is about them going to another dimension or something like that, but character-specific stages add a lot more for each character's image... And I really felt like they really nerfed many characters like Hsien-Ko, Donovan, Felicia, Bishamon, Rikuo, and Sasquatch in the third DarskStalkers as well...

Mind you I'm an avid player of both what you would call DS2 and DS3 ( that from now on I'll just call Vampire Hunter/VH and Vampire Savior/VS as I grew up and still live off of the JP versions ) but to be honest after playin both for some time Vampire Savior just does so much...RIGHT, compared to Vampire Hunter.

Chances are the biggest factor between the two is Tech Hitting/Push bloking. Both games are known to favor the guy rushing down and doing their pressure strings, this is just a pont everyone should know just picking up the game for a few minutes and getting a few rounds in. Now in VH if your the one being attacked your options to handle the foe and get back on the attack is just SLIGHTLY better then say SF2 with you ether going for a grab attempt, try to time a poke out, or using a Guard Cancel/CG attack. The only problem with this is that not all GC's are made equal, with a few charaters not having a very usful on at all limiting them to ether getting a poke or grab. While in VS, thanks to Push blocking/Tech hitting and rolling after knockdown, the defender has a few more options to get out of such things, giving a solid balance between the two sides, one that was lacking somewhat in VH (Unless your using Ankaris because freaking hell capcom lets NOT give him a normal grab, Tech hitting, and force him to use bar for a Guard cancel just like if he was still in VH...).

The next point I would love to bring focus onto is chances are the biggest one of all, how rounds are done. VH in that regard does it like almost every other fighter out there, Very basic best out of 3 ( defalt ) system that resets the playing feild each round. It's preatty much the standered in fighting games when SF2 came out, till now and IMO works rather well for what it does. Advantage is keeped via a "Won" based system as both plyers HP are returned to an equal state. My only real problem with this type of system is that if say a match ended with both peole having low HP, the next round the person who lost muh now take out an entirly new health bar to "catch up" as it where. With VS thought it took a bran new idea and just RAN with it making one of the FASTEST games to date. Players ahve 2 set of HP bars, when someone's bar runs ill zero, they fall to the ground and are allowed to do a roll before getting right back up with their next set of HP, no pasue or reset between players meaning first of all the action never stops, and second of all that means if both players keep a tight grip on each other with HP, even of one loses their first bar first, the opponet is still where they where left off as. It's a wonderful system that sadly was never picked up the same way ever again (JoJo only uses the fact that no one moves from their current placement, HP is still resetted and their is still a "Win" track system that slows down the game more then needed IMO).

My only complants with VS is really that they scrapped allot of the fun parts of VH, like an area for each charater, or all of the extra supers/specals for each one. They also had a greater focus on story then the other games, but in game this is almost never seen besides the endings meaning the only real way to get full enjoyment was to get the extra materals for the game, that up till recent was only avalable in japan ( and still allot of it is stuck in Japanese only ).

...but then again this is just my take on all of this and nothing else. i would love to hear in full how others feel about this subject!

...Oh yes Random Q-Bee image <3

OH yes:

Sasquatch

Nerfed

WHAT?!

He's freaking S teir only lower then say Zabel/Raptor...He even outbeats Gallon/Talbain for the most part as far as stuff like that goes.  If anything he's MUCH better then his hunter version!

...Unless you are talking about Vampire Hunter2/Savior2 then...as both of those should be forgotten...FOREVER.

I can assure 99.9% that there will be nothing on this demand during TGS. This wasn't a scheduled Capcom game but rather more of a fan suggestion so if we did manage to break through, then we'll be in luck.
The new games were revealed in Kramez's blog post; Okamiden, Operation Shooting Star and Ghost Trick. Unless Capcom is going reveal another set of games, then there should be a chance.

The issue with a HP stock system is that at the end of it all, it tends to favor the winner of the first round.Even if the loser of the first round has an advantage during the second round, more often than not, they're bound to take some damage and be at a disadvantage during the third, final round. This also puts less incentive for the winner of the first round to try to win the second round since as long as he's damaged the other player, he's guaranteed an advantage during the final round. Meanwhile, the lost of the first round is under even more pressure now as not only do they have to win 2 rounds straight, but they have to make sure that they have enough life to actually pull off the win. The advantage that the loser gains in the second round is, quite frankly, artificial and ends up working against  then in the long run.

I support a new (or remixed) Darkstalkers game!

This may seem shallow, but i'd defnitely want a return for darkstalkers. It's been too many years since some of those characters saw some new action, for example, my favorites, J.Talbain and Donovan. I'm not saying it has to be immediately, but I definitely want to see a remix of Darkstalkers for consoles, if not a brand new darkstalkers or more members featured in crossover joints altogether.
