i think the same as Rhuen, there are plenty of characters left in the darkstalkers universe, grown up Anita is  a must, Oboro and Orin would be amazing to , it would be cool to see some new, most important is a new game and that the old characters are in it


 


Kreutz family
Present master: Xell Kreutz (male)

He is a violent master who's family is opposed to the Hartland family. His appearance is the least human looking.(A dragon with wings)


Drey family
Present master: Taurus Drey (male?)

A collector in Makai, he has various items in collection. Hannya and Kien were formerly in his possession.



Gilman family


Present master: Sierra do Gilam (female)

A philosopher of Makai, she wrote many books like, "The beginning of darkness", "Me and Makai", etc. She speaks 78 languages and is able to use 1,400 spells.


Funechika family


Present master: Ed Funechika (male)

The current master of a group of martial artists. He is the holder of the 666th level in Makenpo.

In addition to a new Boss as a Bostial, these are the characters I want in Darkstalkers 4.  


I know this is a Darkstalkers HD Remix thread, but it seems more like a general DS discussion thread with higher traffic then the others.

If there was a remix Id mainly like to see expanded movesets for Dimitri Morrigan  Felicia and Donovan those are my favorites Id also like to see gameplay thats faster overall

The creators already said that he was not going to show up in any spin offs even though I really do not believe them. I think this is a game he will have no need to be in. Darkstalkers does not need to become a fail like everything else just because people want guest characters and CaC modes. Leave a game classic with some updates or a new version and the game should be just fine.

I hope Capcom announces something Darkstalkers related around Halloween... I'm really looking forward to a new or remade game... I also hope that this remixed version would be the definitive version of Darkstalkers before the release of Darkstalkers 4. I would really want a set of new stages, redrawn stages from the first Darkstalkers and Darkstalkers 2 along with Darkstalkers 3, and a set of new remixed or remastered music.


 


As for a new character(Darkstalkers 4 related topic), instead of bringing in a guest character, my idea for a new character would be a pumpkin monster(I kind of wonder why nobody thought of this one) as it fits in very well and brings in a simple monster stereotype rather than a fancy "cool-type" monster. Characters for Darkstalkers have the "comical-type" or cartoonish design so Capcom is going to have to be smart on which guest character they are going to have to add for a sequel.

ok....dante fits in perfectly there is no way around that, the only reason why they wouldnt put him or vergil in is cuz they already have a half demon in the game and his names donovan, and for everyone who thinks (at least)dante doesnt fit in darkstalkers...i think they should read up on devil may cry and realize dante is in the same business  as some of the darkstalkers ...lol
