Today, I read about someone named Ono-san paying special attention to fan requests for a Darkstalkers remix using Street Fighter 4's graphics engine. If that is so I can't wait to see how that all works out. In that video, in the comments someone mentioned he was working on a DS game. I'd be pretty disappointed if that game turned out to be this Darkstalkers remix just because it's not the same thing as playing it on a TV. Again, I know it is really just far-fetched to expect Capcom to pick up on this but it would be an excellent way to attract attention for the series, especially considering how well Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is going to sell and there will be many budding Morrigan fans. She's hot and she sells the series very well. A transformation, taking Darkstalkers out of 2D into 3D would be amazing. Start working on something, Capcom. It would be a wise choice to remix this game. We need a Darkstalkers revival by next Fall. It would be perfect because more people are spending more time indoors and + you have the fact that it's Halloween and something about vampires, succubuses and mummies really complete the holiday (all the way into Christmas as well). |

Udon is coming out starting in January with a new Darkstalkers comic, a three parter, hopefully, and I'd assume, it continues from the older one. plus Ono-san has been dropping hints about a Darkstalkers 4 using the same engine that was used to make Street Fighter IV (same engine doesn't mean same art style by the way). |

Wow, a Darkstalkers 4? I just got that feel like I just heard about Street Fighter 4 for the first time. It'd be nice if they really called it that. I bet lots of SF4 fans would hop on it immediately like starving savages. |

Sunday at midnight EST, I will unleash a new blog post with a poll exclusively for Capcom Unity members only. Yes, it has something to do with Darkstalkers Chronicles and 4. But Ono has been mentioning games he wants to do like a new Capcom vs. SNK (he stated that he did not like the new KOF) and use the SF4 engine for Darkstalkers. I say let Ono do and produce all All Capcom Fighting Games since he's willing to do them. Besides who needs JimmyRey when you got the mastermind Ono willing to revive and work on these games.
