In order to use Wii Speak, players must somehow exchange friend codes anyway, so there will be no random chatter. I don't see this changing with Monster Hunter 3 (assuming it gets it), unless Capcom uses their own servers. Plus, it's extremely easy to mute people in most voice-chat supported games as well. RareIy do players ever totally agree on what they'd want in their ideal game. That why it's important to support many different options available. I say have both keyboard support and Wii Speak in the game if possible. |

Wii Speak or not, totally psyched about this! MH Freedom Unite is fantastic and I can't wait to play this as well. We know the details are still to come, but you got the important announcement out of the way! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! To those of you already panicking about the inclusion of voice or not, consider this: round up the friends that you're gonna play with, get yourselves a Ventrilo server and some headsets... instant voice chat support in any game! Or if you're all lucky enough to have another console of the same type, you can voicechat on that while playing the Wii! There are other options! :D Oh, in case I didn't say it before: THANK YOU! MH Tri is gonna rock. |

Using Vent's a good fallback idea. I could live with that. |

I'd prefer using it, honestly! Doesn't tie up any resources on the system, and doesn't force you to use Wii Speak's room mic. I want to hear voice chat in a headset and game audio over the speakers, I don't want them both battling it out for dominance over the speakers. Wii Speak is supposedly a fine device, I've heard good things about it and I hope that Capcom can accommodate those who wish to use it, but it's not the way I would personally want to talk with my fellow players in a game where communication is essential. |

It must have been hard to keep this to yourselfs (the western release), Where you pissed that Gamecom let slip that monsterhunter 3 tri was playable there and kind off spoiled the western release suprise today?
Also hope that you guys are going to support wii speak (because its now collecting dust), And for the looks of the waiting line photo's from sathurday that the launch was pretty successfull. |

I am looking forward to it. With the crazy Japanese stuff going on (man, the black Wii/Wiimote/Nunchuk/Classic Controller/MH Tri pack sure is cool) I'm getting more curious about it every day. |

It's good to see that Capcom actually put some effort into a Wiigame. Probably a day one purchase |
