is there really and chance of a MvsC3 at all or are we going to just get excuse after excuse. it took 9 years for you to re-release MvsC2 when we wanted a part 3. sells will not be great because most people that are die hard fans have a copy of this game if sells of MvsC2 will determine if we get MvsC3 then theres no chance and you messed up by having two release dates (very stupid choice). im a huge fan and we still have a once a month tournament for MvsC2 at our game store. keep us informed but stop stop leading us on so we will buy re-releases. give the fans what they want Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at least try for your fans and capcom followers do sit and wait MAKE this happen for US and YOU $$$

We realize people would like an MvC3, but there's nothing to talk about on that front. I do appreciate your passion for the series though.

Given that you're an avid fan, I would hope you would want a new generation of players to experiece the game which has given you so much joy.

Lastly, your assertion that MvC2 wont' sell is a bit off. It could become our best selling digital title so far. It's actually surprised us.

Lol firstly they have just re-released MVC2 and if they were to announce it now people would say to themselves "i may aswell just wait for MVC3". So capcom would lose out loads. Also there is 2 parties here marvel and capcom they have to negotiate things such as stakes.... and the last thing they will care about now is pleasing fans when we are in a recession. Im sure it will come out though soon as many people have downloaded the 2nd one recently.

Your feelings towards MVC3 are the same as mine towards onimusha 5. It is enoying but there are so many games coming out and they are still milking of street fighter4,RE5, MVC2 at the moment and with mainstream franchises coming out like MGS rising, god of war 3, splinter cell, COD MW2, L4D2, Bioshock 2, Fifa 2010, PES 2010,ZELDA, METORID, SUPER MARIO, CRACKDOWN.............................. there will be to much competition, on the bright side after these games are made there is very few other mainstream games i can see for 2011, hopefully it will be out by then and announced as soon as possible. They are working on dead rising 2 and lost planet 2 at mo after that i can see it happening.

You do realize that noone in here can give you such an answer do you? Not even sven. If MvC3 was a go there would be a press release by both marvel and capcom. Just be patient, heck don't wait on it, just enjoy other games so when it does get announced the impact will be greater.
