Hello Capcom! I'm wondering if there are any plans to release a new version of God Hand.

Okami was ported to the Wii and Viewtiful Joe was ported to the CameCube, which is still playable on the Wii. I dont own a PS2 and would really rather not have to buy a piece of hardware (whatever the price is) just to play 1 game. I think it would be pretty awesome to have a God Hand port to maybe the Wii or PS3 or whatever

God Hand seems to be a really fun game, from what I've played of it, with a lot of that good ol' Clover humor. If anyone happens to agree, post here and maybe the Capcom team might consider this.

Mad World was supposed to be God Hand's Spiritual Successor...

But Platinum Games messed that right the hell up.

EDIT: I'm just sore because I want a God Hand 2.

I've been bugging Capcom for a good long while  for a God Hand sequel/port.  I'd particularly like to see it on the Wii, since  the original was practically made for it (assuming they can get nunchuck dodging to work correctly).

I'd certainly buy a sequel, regardless of what console it was on!  Hell, I own 3 copies of the original (one opened, one  unopened and the Japanese one with the soundtrack disc! :D)

I'd love to see a remake or sequel to God Hand. It was such an amazingly fun game. Sadly, I don't think the game did well enough for Capcom to re-invest in it. Feel free to prove me wrong though.Wink

Good game, but I'd suspect this would be a really difficult sell on a number of levels.

I think you should go for it.  If it were done on a budget, can a Wii version not be profitable, be it a sequel or a port?  Plus you've got the No More Heroes/MadWorld audience installed.  It may not be a huge audience, but there is an established market for brawlers on the Wii if you play your cards right.

Or maybe level-by-level episodic type deal on XBLA/PSN that you can sell for about $10 bucks a pop or so? I'd be surprised if a "real" game on XBLA didn't get lots of attention.
(I'd actually really like to see that happen with Viewtiful Joe, too)

Greatest game ever.  I actually DID get a PS2 just for this game, and it was worth it.

I fear there will never be another God Hand, but it would have been nice to at least have a character from God Hand in Tat-v-Capcom.

There are consoles out there with only one or two games worth owning the system for (Jaguar, CD-i), but how could you snub the PS2 like that? Capcom alone has some amazing games that remain exclusive for that system (like my beloved Resident Evil Outbreak series). A $50 PS2 is one of the best videogaming investments you can make (along with a $25-30 SNES).

Buuuuuut if you're going to buy one game for it, God Hand isn't a bad pick!

I think Sven is Right. But I would love to see God Hand ported to 360/PS3. I think it needs some good Marketing to Sell because not many people are Familiar with the Franchise.
