I don't want anyone reading this the wrong way (as I'm not saying anything like this could happen) but I'm seeing some interested for DMC to get this treatment... are there other titles you'd like see go this way? I'm looking for some temperature readings.

Okami. Okami. Okami. Okami. Okami. Okami. Okami. Okami. Capcom, please bring Okami to the PS3!

Replying to Sven, I think it would be great to remaster some games that were released on other platforms and hadn't many success,  for instance:

xbox's    DINO CRISIS 3

NGC       PRODUCT N: 03

I think that would be a waste of time, having in mind the time games take to be done nowadays it would be better if they focus they time in a development of a new game for the series, like a sequel (a real sequel, taking place after Devil May Cry 2).

Devil May Cry 1, 2 and 3 are not playstation 1 games, because if they were I would agree on this, they were Playstation 2 games, in my opinion they are Ok as they are (they managed to turn better than devil may cry 4 did, let's face it, Devil May Cry 4 had better graphics, they add cool things to the gameplay (although few) like Nero's devil arm but in terms of story, content (weapons, bosses, environments, demoniacal transformations...), extras and longevity it was horrible, the others were way better on all this. It wasn't worth to be played again after finished.

My opinion though. They should worry about doing a proper sequel.

The thing is, these remastering projects aren't full-blown remakes. They're anti-aliasing applied to the graphics and maybe some textures updated. The resolution is brought up to 720p.

That's about it.

It's not like we're asking Capcom to remake the 3 DMC games from the ground up with new gameplay mechanics, new AI programming, etc.

Basically the idea is to have all the games on 1 console to hold us off until a "proper sequel". It'd also be a relatively easy way for Capcom to profit money off of and satisfy us fans...2 birds with 1 stone.

I would love to play the old DMC games on my PS3. So I think it'd be a good idea and might bring even more fans to the franchise, who knows.

I would also welcome a remake of Resident Evil 1-3 (like the remake of the first game for the GameCube back then) (For PS3 and Xbox 360)

Im all for this, the Devil May Cry series is a no brainer and I would love to replay the original in 720p widescreen with trophy support. Though if I had to pick some others I must say I would love if Capcom would do this for the Onimusha series, and release the Gamecube versions of Resident Evil 0 and the RE1 remake, remastered with trophy support (though I suppose with those prerendered backgrounds that might be a bit tough.)

Or instead of Zero and Remake they could put in the Outbreaks (if this is only for ps2 games)

The capcom games i most know is DEVIL MAY CRY, RESIDENT EVIL,MEGA MAN and STREET FIGHTER. I would like to see on ps3 resident evil 1,2,3 if is possible the others ones than street fighter and mega man. Devil may cry 1,2,3 should be on the ps3 and i guess it will be the first to be.
